I don't know about D.C., but if you're ever on Easton Avenue in New Brunswick, try the MV Deli.

I don't know about what's the best place to eat Hoagies, Subs, whatever, but my favorite sandwich of all time is the Dagwood. It's the best!

Okay, Anyone in the DC area: What places do you like?

I have a feeling most of this board are NY R&F fans...

The only decent deli I ever found down here was near my college -- Viareggio's on 12th St., NE. I believe it has since moved to Connecticut Avenue.

I've heard the Italian Store in Arlington on Lee Highway is supposed to be good. I haven't tried it yet.

There was a place called Philadelphia Mike's that used to be in Crystal City but moved up to Bethesda on Wisconsin Avenue (across from the old Bethesda Cinema and Draft House). They make the best cheesesteak you'll find outside of Philly.

Nothing get's by you huh? Yeah, there's a pretty strong NY fan base on this board, but as more and more DC people tune in I'm sure they'll join the board as well.

As for sandwhiches, I've heard of the Dagwood that more cowbells talked about, but I've never had one.
