and my personal favorite...from a specific restaurant...is outbacks bloomin' onion. that is amazing. also, chili's awesome blossom is just as good.

[color=purple]Kinda depends on the restaurant.

At like an Outback or Boulder Creek, hard to beat the Blooming Onion. Or a nice marbelized onion soup w/ melted cheese from most higher quality steakhouses.

Steamed dumplings are a good choice when doing chinese. And you can't go wrong with either mozerella sticks or chicken fingers at most chain places (Chilis, TGIF, etc).

All this said, when prepared properly, stuffed mushrooms might be the ultimate appetizer to most any meal.

Nothing better than Stuffed Mushrooms. But WHY so expensive! 5 or 6 of those little ass button mushrooms will run you like 4-5 bucks!

Steels was also right on with Stuffed Clams. Had them with bacon once. I still have dreams about those clams.

And Funkman is in da house with the Calamari. I had fresh once at a nice Italian place up in NY hear like Spring Vally or some shit in a little forgotten mimi mall. Outstanding. They brought us 2 orders: one spicy and one regular breading.

At the Outback or Boulder Creek, maybe both, there's some fries with cheese and bacon. They give you some ranch dreesing to dip them in. Those things kick ass.

it damn sure matters....sesame chicken at TGIFridays...garlic shrimp at my work....honey BBQ wings at Applebees....mozzerella sticks are always good but it does depend on how old and disgusting the oil is that they are deep fried in...does anyone eat calamari?
