that is actually great for him. because he basically is "retired" from professional wrestling. this is his job now.
but be forwarned. never go to the dan severn clinics. he charges you 100 bucks for like 2 hours and the first hour he just talks about himself(this is for nhb/mma style shit, not professional wrestling).

The Goon Squad is the underground. Declaring war on everything... Declaring war on nothing. We are your children raised on ritalin and prozac, biting the hand that's reared us... pissing down our heros throats.
All we are is all you have made us...Given nothing. Taking everything. Making this world a place of our own.

This might be a silly question, but can Al Snow wrestle for small indie companies while being contractually bound to the WWE? Or has he parted with the WWE and I don't know it yet?

Ever hear of the USWA?
This is done all of the time. If you are no being used, and it's not a major company competeing with the WWE in the same market on the same night.

The simple answer to this question is as follows.
Some of the little used workers for WWE can ask management if they can work an independant show on a off day. Most of the time WWE will let them. As Jerry Lawler has recently been making the indy rounds as of late. And recently Tommy Dreamer made a surprise run-in at the RoH event in Elizabeth New Jersey. In addition, Al Snow didn't only hold a clinic he actually worked the Jersey All Pro show on Saturday where he won the World Heavyweight Title from Danny Maff in a pretty good match. Al Snow is also scheduled to defend his newly won title against former WWE superstar and current TNA worker, Raven. It will be on September 27, 2003 at the Center Circle in Rahway New Jersey
