Anyone see the New Teen Titans show?

Did anyone catch DC's New Teen Titans cartoon on the cartoon network? I don't have cable and wonder how they portrayed the comicbook on tv. Who's in the group/ who arethe badguys/ and where are the headquarters/ stuff like that? And what was the 1st episode about and will it catch on? Thanks.

It was kinda weak. Some group of 3 bad guys attacked them and knocked them out of thier homebase thing. Then Robin showd back up and they all kiced ass and won. Kinda stupid, and I HATE shows where they just add a Teen Angst angle to superheroes.

I have no idea which Robin it was. Probably the kid one. Then there was sone black guy who was a Cyborg. Some girl who could fly called like Star somthing. I think Raven was the other's name, and Beast Boy who was kinda gay.

It was okay. If you're not a comic book fan, I can see where you wouldn't really be into it. Even being a comic geek, I must say that the show seems aimed specifically at a younger audience - something that the previous DC animation efforts did not necessarily do (Batman did once it was moved to WB, but at that point the show was on its last legs anyway). I'll have to see more episodes before I get a totally accurate view, though.

It is the Tim Drake Robin, BTW.

And the cast is sort of an amalgam. It's base is pretty much the 1980s "Teen Titans" comic, with some modern touches.

The one thing I did like was the animation. There's a quasi-anime feel to it, and some of the character designs looked a little like the art of Humberto Ramos.

yea the show over all was weak. its aimed for kids to the point that certain animation sequences seem straight out of looney tunes. i 4get exactly what happened but basically one of th ekids did one of those spins in mid-air that happens when someone runs by them real fast. the stories need improvement as well.

Stories? It was only one show so far!
Yeah, it really is for kids and sometimes it gets really slapstick, but it's enjoyable. The first episode was kinda brainless, but enjoyable.

If you've ever seen Jackie Chan Adventures, you'll notice the same style of action. It's basically batman beyond meets jackie chan adventures meets x-men evolution.

The robin in teen titans is Tim Drake, or whoever the last batman was in the 90s batman cartoon.

I would have thought that they would get rid of the robin outfit. It's too bright and stupid looking.
