High Times advertises all of these websites, but how do I know it's not "the man" trying to catch poor unsuspecting people like me, who just want to experiment a little? Some of the sites are from out of the country, and I'm afraid if I go ahead and order something, a policeman will show up at my door and arrest me. Has anybody done this before? I don't want to go to jail! I'm a nice girl from a nice family.

Oh, by the way, which one's pinky?

ok if high times is advertising it, in all likelyhoodd it is not pot. it is shit that looks and smells like chronic, but it will not get u high. save ur money, go to astoria, u can get some nice fluffy crazy ass buds there. and never buy shit from high times.

Nice Girl.. Nice Family...Shes...oh, never mind...

High Times is full of ads for fake weed; plants you smoke that are 'herbs', but dont contain any THC, the Shibby Psychoactive.

There are also a bunch of seed sellers, for those who wish to try their own hand at things; but if you read these ads, they all say, somewhere: It Is Illegal to sell Seeds to the United States.

As for internet tracking; I'm Mr. Paranoid. I assume I'm being tracked, where I go, what I post, sites I visit.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, and I say that because I know Very little about computers; so perhaps someone who knows this stuff can chime in, but doesn't a computer bought these days, meaning running Windows XP:

1. keep a log of all websites visited, for a time at least.

2. The graphics and other stuff from these sites go into temp files on your computer, and don't get cleaned out unless you do it yourself.

3. Tracking Software. Someone here referenced a site for SpyBot Search + Destroy. I'm not advocating or endorsing it, but I installed it, and run it regularly, and it finds all sorts of tracking software that reports your internet activity.

4. I may be wrong on this one; but doesnt WinXP require an on-line registration? And is it me, or am I paranoid whenever I install Windows Upd@tes, that something, somewhere in those Gigs is checking out my computer, and sending it out.

Now; I may be wrong on a lot of the above, and also I know there's a difference between this stuff being on your drive and someone getting busted on it; but damn, I sure don't know, and since all I'm reading about lately is Identity theft from people online, who knows?

Anyone?

Pinky, if you've got to ask, maybe you shouldn't smoke so much.
Plus, it's not that hard to find.
Forget those HT ads for growing indoors at your crib, also. Those guys are easy to catch and here in Va. you're looking at 10 years for cultivation.
HT can be fun and informative, but remember 2 things:
1] They've got an agenda, and things are slanted that way,
2] Despite what they say, they're in it mainly for the money, most of which comes from advertisers.

" and they ask me why I drink"
