I thought that Mikey retired. Geez, he's already breaking the record for most retirements.

Brother, he still has a long way to go before he even matches Terry Funk's record.

Very true. He'll at least break Piper's record.

I wouldn't say this card is amazing. ROH hasn't had a real hot card in a long time. I don't think Samoa Joe will bring the best out of Paul London for his last show. We've seen that Briscoe brother tag a couple of times already. And Low Ki is still out of commish.

I attended the show last night. It was held on the basketball courts. Jeff Hardy was booed out of the building, the crowd hated him (except for the 15 year old girls) and never gave him a chance. Tom Carter/Doug Williams was enjoyable, could have been better if they worked the crowd, possibly have Williams as the heel and Carter as the face. Raven's dog collar match was cool, with run in's by Danny Doring, Tommy Dreamer and Colt Cabana. Samoa Joe and Paul London's match was fun as well, London played the babyface with many "please don't go" chants going on. The rest of the card didn't appeal to me with lots of no selling and very little psychology.

Aside from the booing, how was Hardy's match?

I really can't remember most of his match since I really did not care to watch. Try wrestlingclothesline.com or any wrestling site that covered the show, I'm sorry for not delivering any info.

Ring of Honor's website is... http://www.rohwrestling.com.

As for the Jeff Hardy match, from the 30 minutes before his match, Jeff signed autographs for the 15 year old teeny boppers. The entire time signing, people who were sitting near me began the Crackhead chants, the We want Matt chants and the Go home Chants. ONce the match started, Jeff came out in a pretty cool mask but eventually took it off. After about 5 minutes of getting booed and cursed at, Jeff began giving the finger to all of the fans. The entire crowd booed and heckled him when he missed his jump to the second rope to do his little finger taunt.

Damn, are you sure this show was in Elizabeth? Sounds like they bused in some of the more moronic Philly fans for this shindig.

I was there

Low Ki made his return smacking around 2 members of Special K and then having a good match against Deranged.

The talented Matt Stryker (not the one ICW uses) and Jimmy Rave had a technical spot fest with some hard hits and high spots thrown in

Carnage Crew and T.W.A.'s weapons match was just 8 guys finding interesting ways to beat each other senseless. 5 minutes before the end of the match, Justin went to the back for a stinger in his left arm that he thought was more serious.

Tony Mamaluke and John Walters beat an annoying team known as the Outcast Killaz. Some nice spots, but nothing great.

Former Atlas Security member Xavier embarassed himself by trying to cut a promo.

Carter and Williams had a really good match, but like Dynamite K said, they didn't play to the crowd that much. I think Carter is too full of himself anyway, so that didn't help.

The Four Corner match was a nice spot feast with BJ whitmer taking a surprise win and then accidentaly breaking the #1 contender's trophy. During this match I realized that od the 4 men, Colt Cabana has the best shot of getting signed to the WWE and it depressed me.

The Scramble Match with Specail K and SAT and Backeat boyz was just like all of the other Scramble Matches but entertaining none the less.

I honestly can say that I felt bad for Jeff Hardy. I can assure you that at some time these fans enjoyed his work, but I think they thought it was more fun to all boo him then give him a shot. The only times he screwed up were when the crowd was really on him. The funny thing was that everyone that was taunting him for getting fired for his drug problem cheered Raven like he was a God. But I guess that an ECW pedigree gives you an advantage.

Raven vs. CM Punk's Dog Collar match had the feel of old school ECW action, including 10 minutes of in crowd action that most people couldn't see, both wrestlers being crucified, and unexpected run-ins by Doring and Dreamer. Lots of Blood, lots of action and would have been a good close.

London vs Samoa Joe wasn't bad but their styles didn't compliment each other well and the sleeper finish was a little weak. Both are usually pretty entertaing so I just chalk it up to a lack of chemistry.

I enjoyed myself, and also had a very tasty Maui Wow black rasberry smoothie during the card and got to take home a tiki cup, so how could I possibly be dissapointed?
