Man I loved that show so much!

I'm watching old reruns on TNN and it's just as good as when it was first on in the 90's. Although I'm laughing at all the God awful hair-dos (SO many mullets!!)

Put I got to say my favorite event was Assualt, this was the one where the gladiators would shoot the tennis balls at the contendors as they go from block to block shooting different weapons at the target over the gladiator.

Infact I loved it so much that when an old friend of mine used to work over nights at a tennis center we would set up the ball machine and try to hit the guy running from side to side of the course where a tennis ball was waiting to be thrown at the guy controling the ball machine.

We would do this for hours.

Oh the welts from being hit and the skinned knees as we slid on hard top tennis courts. Those were the days!

Most pointless was the one where you had to score a touchdown on one gladiator and then wrestle another one out of a circle. The women all sucked at both events.

Assault was cool, Hang time had it's moments, but nothing beat the eliminator in it's many forms. I liked the final form with the Stairmaster that actually went up a pole and tackling dummies that the gladiators swung.

Somewhere in my house I have the playboy that one of the gladiators posed for. And I remember she had a great ass.

I always loved watching the Joust. The contestants were never able to hold the Joust sticks (or whatever they were) correctly.

i liked the event where they had to get past the gladiators to Dr0p balls in the containers...

looked to be one of the toughest events and the contestants usually took a pounding... so it was more rewarding when they succeeded...

reminds me of the old days and our games of tackle football...

I actually remember watching the episode that is on right now, with Doreen the school teacher from NY - I remember she said she used to run the stairs in her apartment for exercise, and also the guy who said he was doing this to be a role model to show kids they could do fun stuff without doing drugs. I think this must have originally aired in 1993. Right around the time when the Earthquake smooshed Jake the Snake's snake.

I always like assault best, and then later on when they had that thing where you had to put on the velcro gloves and go around the track...

FunkMan that's Powerball, and that's got to be my second favorite.

Joust was great too but unless someone got there ass pounded it usually ended in a step off or stepping on to the other pedistal.

Hosp the eliminator went through many changes and there were periods of it that the only hard part was the hand bike. I never understood how some people just couldnt get up that track at the begining.

I wonder if any real fights ever took place during the competition that was edited off television?

Too Cute making wrestling references? Next thing you'll know she'll start talking about orally pleasing a woman and I'll be totally useless on the board.

So I guess it's my responsibility to talk about Nancy Atlas now?

Assualt was my favorite as well. I've been watching the TNN reruns too lately. Saw WWE's Rico on this week.

The show went to hell when they changed all the events and became World Gladitors or something.

I WANT ONE!

I always liked Joust best.

And Rico was the biggest winner ever on AG. He was even offerred a spot as a Gladiator, but turned them down.

That one where they stood on a balance beam and hit each other with giant Q-Tips... I think it was called "Joust".

Wasn't Cannonball one of the horrible ones?

I liked the event where the Australian gladiator would take out his bowie knife and say, "this is a knife" over and over again until the contestants won a lot of points.
