Changing Definitions

I had a conversation with my Dad not too long ago about the meaning of words and how they have changed over the years. He brought up the word gay. He said that when he was a young man, it was nothing to say that you were gay and happy. In fact, alot of songs out of WWII had the word gay in them meaning happyetc. He also said that he always liked the word "Gay" until the "Fruitloops screwed everything up"
Can you think of any other examples of definition changes over the years?
