Carguy. Its 1976 with a 350 big block and a automatic transmision i have abuot $1000 dollars to spend.

A '76 Camaro? Fix the rust before you do anything else. $1000 dollars doesn't go very far. Tune it up first and advance the timing a couple degrees. See what that does for you. If you still want more go with a cam, carb and intake. Don't go too big on the cam and carb. Headers and bigger exhaust make a big difference too. If you have enough money left freshen up the tranny and get a high stall converter. Don't go with more than 3000 stall or it's a motherfucker to drive on the street. Or you could just go the easy route, get some nitrous. Just be careful or you'll get to see what the inside of an engine looks like.
