I aint stoppin ya.

I think Goldberg kicked him in the head or jacked him or something and he had a concusion. He was under WCW for many months after that but couldnt return. I heard he was having trouble with dizzyness and had bad headaches for months after the incident

There's also the small matter of the MAJOR STROKE he had last year...

They always tease the Montreal screwjob thing whenever they're in Canada (and in ''the scene of the crime'' in particular). He'll show up eventually (they always come crawling just the way Vince likes it), but I've learned to not get my hopes up.

WTF? Is it 1980's again. Is Bret going to sell out to Vince after all that shit that Vince did to him? Don't do it, your brother is rolling over in his grave if you do.But if you need the money that bad, go for IT!

Last time I checked, a snapped cable killed Owen.

So tell people to stop blamming Vince like he was sitting there with a torch cutting the cable beforehand

Um... where did somebody blame Vince in this thread? All I saw was a comment about Owen rolling over in his grave, nothing about who/what put him there.

Bret Hart can barely even WALK these days.

Don't look for him to be back in the WWE anytime soon.

One could make the ''neither could Piper'' argument, but I digress... :)

Yeah, but he learned not to run down to the ring so he doesn't blow anything out again. You know you are old when if you even break into a light jog you have to worry about tearing something.

1. Bret Hart isn't returning! If there is one business surrounding by ultra-hype its wrestling.

2. Shawn Michaels and referee Earl Hebner didn't screw Bret. Vince Mcmahon did.

3. It was actually the turnbuckle that killed Owen. He was still alive as he fell.

1)Bret hart will probably make a one time appearance at Wrestelmania XX.

2)Bret screwed Bret. If he agreed to give up the title in Canada, none of this ever would have happened. Look at Booker T. he has lost every match when he has been in Texas and Trish loses every match in Canada.

3)A bad cable killed Owen. It was a tragic accident.

At his worst, Bret could be considered naive to what was going to happen.

Anyone who doesn't admit that Vince did his absolute best to destroy Bret completely that night and the WEEKS following it is a WWE apologist of the worst sort.

With Vince Mcmahon's reputation, no doubt Bret Hart isn't the only wrestler he has screwed over--its just his most infamous.

They say "Hindsight is 20/20". Think about it: Bret wasn't screwed only on November 9, 1997. Remember that U.S. verses Canada storyline that destroyed Hart's good guy image? Recall how Bret and Vince "collided" over the controversial content at the time.

Did anyone ever think of that?

Agreed. Remember when Michaels trotted out the midget dressed like a little Hitman? Not too subtle.

I remember that. And Shawn Michaels was supposedly an "innocent" bystander to the conspiracy.
