Let's hear about your favorite hot dog vendor, his location & what you normally order.
My favorite vendor is easily "Hot Dog Louie" in Cliffside Park, New Jersey in front of the Cliffside Park High School & #6 school during the evenings of softball season. He works out of a van opposed to a cart. He carries strictly Sabrett products and all the "franks" are in their natural casings. I have been frequenting his stand since I was in grade school and my usual order is a hot dog with mustard, onions sauce and cheese.
Honorable Mention:
"Sal's" hot dog stand which operated across the street from the entrance to Hudson County Park in North Bergen, New Jersey. He has been gone a while now but was there for a very long time that began in the 1970s. He started off in a traditional "Sabrett" cart before graduating to the spacious and convenient "Van". Before the idea of cheese on a hot dog was popular my order was always a "dog" with mustard and onions.
