What the heck is Canadian Bacon???

Do you know, Death Metal Moe (the conneisseur of everything bacon) or anyone else? My doctor says that I should try and eat canadian bacon but everytime i go to pathmark or anywhere else I can't find it. I see turkey bacon, low-fat bacon, etc. What is Canadian bacon and where do they sell it at? What makes it different from regular bacon. thanks.

It's cured and smoked pork, just like regular bacon. It's just cut from a different part of the pig so it's much leaner.

It tastes pretty much the same as smoked ham.

if i am not mistaken, Canadian Bacon is just a fancy name for taylor ham. don't take my word for it though, as i am not 100% on this

Well Canadian bacon is usually oval or circular and the thickness of taylor ham. But it is a lot like regular ham. I don't like it. I don't really see the diffrence between thinly sliced ham and canadian bacon.

And PLEASE send me the name of a doctor who says EAT MORE BACON!!!!!!!!
