I was up in DC for the fireworks yesterday, and i was near Freedom Plaza. There was a man with a segway letting people ride it, and test it out, he probably worked for Segway. I went up and asked to ride it and I did. It was pretty gay. It has 5 gyros that will keep you from falling (Bush never turned his Segway on, thats why he fell) and you just slightly lean forward to move. The guy kept telling everyone to Think they were moving forward, i just pushed myself forward, never thought.

And the gayest moment about the segway, was that when i got off it, he said "You Just THOUGHT yourself to move!"

Gay Gay Gay, Totally Gay.

Can you ride them if your license is suspended

I dont think it requires a license of any kind, and even a 14 year old kid can opperate it... although it says you have to be 16. The stupidest thing is you have to go through this gay orientation that teaches you how to use it.

Who can ride the Segway HT?
The Segway HT is designed to be operated by a wide range of people after proper orientation--no special skills are required. The rider must be able to step on and off the Segway HT without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance and without using the handrail. The rider's weight should be at least 100 pounds and must not exceed 250 pounds. The rider must be able to operate the steering control with his or her left hand. Segway recommends that riders be 16 years of age or older. It is important to note that the Segway HT has not been designed, tested, or approved as a medical device.
