View Full Version : Who is gonna be D-Lo's "Equalizer"?

D-Lo said that AJ and himself are going to fight for the NWA World Title. D-Lo knows that Russo is in AJ's corner and he said that he is going to have his own "equalizer"? Cuz we are the IWC, speculation is expected.

Who do you marks think will be on D-Lo's side?

-Jeff Hardy which will always be mentioned until he shows up here on back in the WWE.

-Lex Luger because D-Lo mentioned that AJ and Russo are the 'complete package"... so why not the "Total Package"? But I doubt they want anything to do with Flexy Lexy anyway with, well you all know.

-Jeff Jarrett, that would be a letdown (just like X-Pac at the Anniversary Show)!

-Hogan/Piper perhaps? (see: Jarrett)

-The Godfather? Get up on the Hooo Train?

-Scott Hall? *throws toothpick in face*

-"Macho Man" Randy Savage? Who doesn't love Graduation music?

-Crash Holly?

-Other?

What do you think?

Jeff Hardy
Please, Emmanuel Lewis would make a better equalizer than this flake.

Lex Luger ... But I doubt they want anything to do with Flexy Lexy anyway with, well you all know.
What? It's not like he killed any-- oh, yeah...*
Seriously, even when all his legal problems are over, I don't see him ever coming to TNA or WWe.

*Pre-emptive comment: calm your nut, I was kidding.

Jeff Jarrett
Why not? Letdowns aren't exclusive to WWe anymore.

Hogan/Piper
As long as Russo's around I wouldn't count on Hogan. And given the controversy that came about after Piper's appearance there, his re-debut is doubtful.

The Godfather
Ick. Now, make it his Papa Shango gimmick, and the WrestleCrap lover in me would freak out.

Scott Hall
If he does this, make sure it's a one-shot deal (no pun intended).

Randy Savage
Stay retired, Randy. Please. I'm beggin' ya.

Crash Holly
Would be great if it was strictly a comedic role, but somehow I don't think that's the direction they're going with this.

I'm thinking Jarrett.

Personally, I'd love to see Chaz Warrington show up, so that we finally get the long awaited Lo Down reunion.

Since his bio is still listed on wwe.com as a Smackdown! ''superstar,'' I would assume the answer is yes.

One possibility I'm afraid to bring up: since Waltman's back in TNA (um, he is still there, isn't he?), could Joanie ''Don't call me Chyna'' Laurer be far behind?

Personally, I'd love to see Chaz Warrington show up, so that we finally get the long awaited Lo Down reunion.Se7en, to make it complete... we need Tiger Ali Singh :)

One possibility I'm afraid to bring up: since Waltman's back in TNA (um, he is still there, isn't he?), could Joanie ''Don't call me Chyna'' Laurer be far behind? That was a one time thing with Waltman but Chyna would not surprise me. Although I would hate this soooo much!

What a letdown!

It was a stinkin' chickenwired cage that imprisoned Russo! What a stupid equalizer!

AJ Styles retains the NWA World Title with help from Trinity in a hot outfit and "No Longer Cocky" Sonny Siaki. After the decent match at best (too damn short... bring out the Cage!), Trinity let out Russo and they threw D-Lo in the cage, flipped it over and started using the bat to destroy the cage. End of TNA!

I've given them a chance, I saw New Jack running around with Shark Boy playing with Incrediblke Hulk Fists, I gave up.

I like some of their talent, but the execution of the show and the product that is put out there just always leaves me wanting more. Wanting more not in the "I just can't get enough" way but the "I sat through 2 hours and that's all I get?" way. I'm an ROH fan, which uses a lot of the same talent and I always enjoy what I see of them.

Just how I feel. But this argument has been had many times already in many threads.

Plus, I don't trust a Russo Surprise.

Okay that really doesn't suck. If you look at it, you are paying 40 dollars a month for 8 hours of exciting action. Granted not all 8 hours are going to be great or amazing but it is better than paying $40 a month to see Big Slow vs Brock Lesnar or Triple H beating anyone from wCw.

So does an entire organization consisting of has beens and never weres.

You can not even say that. The only has been or never weres are as follows:

Jeff Jarrett (and even he is still a draw.)
Erik Watts (a never was, but is STILL full of potential)
D-Lo Brown (More exciting than ever before in WWE)
Shane Douglas (still a "Franchise Player")
Harris Brothers (ugh...no comment)

Wanting more not in the "I just can't get enough" way but the "I sat through 2 hours and that's all I get?" way. Gary, I know that some shows are better than others but TNA has to be able to build up for the next week or so unlike the WWE has to do with their programming. "That is all you get?" Well, until they have a national deal (which I heard is almost here) they can not have a 5 star program each week. Maybe you are ordering the weeks when they are in the transition stage of angles?

But you are right on the money.

You can not even say that. The only has been or never weres are as follows:FatTone, although I wanted to ignore that has BEAN comment, I always tried to make everything seem great in TNA and Russo can do no wrong but... they do have BG James, Sanders (love his mic skils, "HEY!" although he is getting Dr0pped from what I heard due to some backstage politicking) and Konnan. And let us not forget, Brian Christopher and Buff formerly of TNA.

The jury is still out on Credible if they can make him a main eventer once again.
