most of my friends you would call inconsiderate at the least. all things that people get pissed at, blow offs, lies, straight up being dicks, they seem to do routinely. i would say about 60% of my friends do things like that more than what you would consider normal. i was just wonderin if thats common, and everybody has a bunch of dumbass friends, or is it just me and i need to clean some house

i guess i should take some comfort in that but i was kinda hoping for the sake of society that it was just me. i cant believe so many people could just not care that much about people, things, themselves. its really pretty sad and it makes me wonder sometimes why the good people try so hard

MY old old friends i used to have sucked so much, they were(looking back) some of the most god-awful people i chose to surround myself with. And i am being nice here, out of all of them i think i still talk to one of them bc she was the only really decent one, time goes by and you lose contact, thank christ.

I have the same problem. I have a few friends who I considered really close, but every once in a while they will turn around and baffle me by being inconsiderate or just plain pricks. Things I would never intentionally do myself, they seem to do with reckless abandon.

I do have some friends that have been loyal friends forever that would never do anything, but I dont see them as much any more. On account of them moving away mostly. But others who I know and hang out with regularly, tend to be assholes at times - it's frustrating and sad to see.

some people never learn the meaning of "mutual respect and friendship", they live their lives in a "what can i get over on" or "who can i use" philosophy...

I never befriended any of my High School classmates because they were assholes, and I dumped about 7 of my old friends one day because I was sick of their shit.

I now have my 2 bandmates as my friends.

Only very recently did I meet Grim Sanity, Todd Evf Dynamite K and some of their friends off the board, and they're good people.

I have learned that I can get along with almost anyone but choose to call very few people my friends.

i dont know why you'd even bother trying to call these people "friends". it's taken me a while, but i've finally got myself a small group of really good friends. i used to have more people that i hung around with, but the majority of them were worthless scumbags who i couldn't trust... not friends.

it's fine to have people that are maybe fun, or good to do certain things with, but they are not to be considered friends. it's important to know what people are really worth. then, do what you want.

I completely disagree. I have had the same 3 best friends since 1st grade. I guess we were all right for eachother. We do everything togeather, and it's very hard to stay mad at eachother. We all have the same intrests and one of my friends was the one who introduced me to O&A many years ago. We tell eachother everything, even things I cant tell my family.
And I'd have to say that I am the biggest asshole of the group, because of the stuff I want to do... whether it be re-build shitty speakers from scratch, or shoot off bottle rockets in the creek under the highway. I am also the most inconsidderate, and the worst-off, but my friends can accept that, and I really have been much better as of late.

I just recently learned how much my friends suck. We've had this road trip planned for months to go to Maine next weekend, and they tell me LAST NIGHT that I have to find my own way there. My boyfriend was sitting right there and didn't say anything, since, well, he has a seat in the car. Assholes!!! Now I have a fun 10 hour drive in my piece of crap car all by myself. Thanks guys!
