Whatever happened to Shane McMahon

We were in the car today and my brother had on the WWE Anthology cd and Shane McMahon's music came up and it got me to thinking....wtf happened to Shane McMahon.....I mean if they could they should bring him back....they could do a little sibling rivalry thing with him and Stephanie on SmackDown....they could have the wrestlers divided into factions loyal to Shane and Stephanie..I mean it may sound terrible but it would at least make SmackDown somewhat entertaining...I mean right now I think Raw is leaps and bounds ahead of Smackdown entertainment wise

Shane is content, for now, to stay off-camera with his desk job (I think he's president of WWe's media division, or something like that). I know I'm in a minority (just me and Teenweek, apparently), but I'd love to see him back on TV.

OK, that repeated thudding sound you hear? That would be me banging my head on my desk to erase that statement from my memory.

Shane has disappointed me.

Of all of the McMahons (even Vince) he seems to be the one who might be sane enough and not too arrogant or ego-driven to actually take the reigns of the company and make it something great again. He's not without his faults (how many Test pushes are attributed to him?), but he SEEMS soooo much better than Vince, or his sister (who is essentially the heir apparent). So it upsets me that he's content to just sit back and let things slide.

Shane may be the David Crockett of our generation. He just has to sit back and watch his family piss away the product.

See the one thing is that Shane McMahon actually brings things to the table when he is on TV. He has one great match with one great bump/move and he goes away. Like he should so no one gets tired of seeing him on tv. I wish Vince and Stephanie would take some advice from Shane and get the fuck off tv already.

Shhhhhhhh......don't jinx it. He actually has made me want to change the channel more than anyone else. I couldn't stand his presence on TV. Especially that damn jump dance he used to do.

I personally wish Shane O Mac would come back. He's much more entertaining than Steph or Vince, and can actually put on a great match by taking tremendous risks.

His matches with Kurt and Steve Blackman were great.

If Shane is going anywhere it is definitely on RAW. He can boost those ratings up a lot more than having Bischoff on. I would love to see Shane become like the commissioner of the WWE and be both on Smackdown and RAW, but if he were to have just one position in a brand, I think that it would have to be a manger position with a stable, much like Paul Heyman had with his group of clients.
