- The original plan for the US Title was to give it to Chris Benoit. Now, there's talk it may end up going to Billy Gunn, a longtime favorite of Vince. Since an upcoming house show feud is Matt Hardy vs. Billy Gunn, speculation has led to the belief that Hardy vs. Gunn may be the US Title final, although that's not confirmed.

WWE had previously announced that Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar would face off in the SmackDown! pay-per-view, Vengeance. However, recent booking indicates that the Big Show is likely to be added to this match to make it a triple-threat match.

The heavily rumored Mr. America vs. Vince McMahon match for Vengeance now might be a hair vs. hair match. In a recent radio interview, Hogan was talking about McMahon's hair. There is talk that Hogan was doing early kayfabing to push the hair vs. hair stipulation for the event.





And you thought Bad Blood was bad. This blows. I congratulate HTH for predicting that vengeance would be godawful.

APA was shown in the back. Steve Lombardi showed up asking to be in the Barroom Brawl on sunday. Bradshaw told him to prove himself, then he'd be invited. Oh yeah, and they said during the segment that Brother Love, and Doink the Clown would be in it too. Nice how they bring in Doink for a PPV, but Matt Hardy, Ultimo Dragon, and Spanky are left without good matches.

I thought the PPV was a little above average. The Main Event was pretty good, and Rey/Kidman vs. Worlds Greatest Tag Team was very good. And of course The U.S. Title match was the match of the night. The only problem was it was the first match of the night so by 10 I was getting a little tired of everything.

Overall, it was the best PPV in a few months.

That barroom brawl no tops number 1 for the worst match in wwf/wwe history. It blew right past the Jackie Gayda Raw mixed tag. What a bunch of shit that was.

Way to push young talent. Undertaker beats John Cena and Vince beats Zach Gowen. Yep makes a lot of sense.

And I see Ultimo Dragon has already been pushed to heat. Next stop out the door.

John Cena is NOT GOOD!!!!

There's nothing memorable about is in-ring repetoire... You people are talking about him like he's on par with Gurrero, Jericho, Benoit, Hardy, Nowinski, Even Randy Orton... and he's just NOT THERE!!

I put him above Maven and below Bradshaw at this point, as far as after wathing his match, I could tell you afterward how many wrestling moves he used in it. Plus his Death Valley Driver is terrible.

He's talented.. He's funny, he's great on the mic.. but holy shit, he CANNOT WRESTLE!!! and I really want to like this kid, but once his matches start... I get nothing, IMO

The biggest crime of this PPV was the lack of Ultimo Dragon in favor of Gunn vs. Noble? WTF? Have Torrie shake her ass between matches or something, don't waste my time building a match around it.

speaking of which, what the hell was wrong with Gunn's hair last night? it just looked... wrong... I can't place it, but it looked stupid, and I spent the whole match trying to figure out what was going on up there.

I give some credit in that the first match was awsome, despite the shoddy ending, blown spots, and Benoit nearly injuring them both by getting out of the way too late. The tag match was incredible.. and the main event wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

But the rest was a huge waste of time.

Cena at this point reminds me of Jericho when he was in the old WCW as the cruserweight champ...good looks and mic skills, not the best in-ring. But Chris is now very well in in-ring AND on mic, so give Cena time, he very well be the best young talent on both rosters

Jericho's in-ring abilities have slowly de-teriated since coming to the wwe. He's a shell of his former self, and it doesn't help that he's put in stupid tag-team matches every other week.

Thing is, him and RVD are still the best wrestlers on RAW. I mean, when Chris is in the ring with Test, Goldberg and Flair, of course he seems like an incredible wrestler.

Don't get me wrong; He is, but just not what he used to be.

i definitely think that jericho has seemed like he has gone downhill since WCW, but i think that's because he's wrestling very different opponents. It's not Rey Mysterio Jr. and Dean Malenko, it's Shawn Michaels and Scott Steiner, much bigger guys. The most annoying thing is that he can no longer actually do the liontamer, and instead has to settle for a boston crab. But yet i still pray for him to somehow win the title.
