I searched and didn't see another thread about this but sorry if there was.

I know a lot of us have pets and love to talk about them like they're our kids. Unfortunately, my doggie is still with my family in New Jersey and I don't have any pets here in Texas. My place is just too small and I'd feel bad leaving a dog home alone all day.

But I got my Rottweiler (Rio) when I was in high school. She's 10 years old now and slowing down but she still acts like a puppy when I go there to visit, it's like I never left. So I wanted to post a pic of me and my puppy, please post your babies here too because I just love seeing cute, cuddly pets.

Jocefus, That bird is beatiful!....I'm just curious as to what made you decide you wanted one. I've never thought of a bird as a pet for myself, but some people really love em. I guess I like pets I can cuddle with.

ive always wanted one since i was a really little kid.. i saw one on tv doing all these tricks and i was amazed... i can cuddle with him..he chills on my shoulder and under my neck...hes very intelligent knows over 100 words and phrases.. he knows the difference between a few colors... the only bad thing about it, is that his mentality will never get past that of a 5 year old.... so i have the next 60-80 years of my life ill be living with a 5 year old...its worth it

This is my first, Blixa. She has thumbs and deformed paws. She was the runt of the litter and still here with me 10 years later. A bit of a bitch at times but she rules the roost.

The next one is Dallas. When I was living at the Suburban Punk Rock Hotel, he was a little kitten to whom I paid little attention. My one asshole friend tripped over one of the black kittens and said "I am not just prejudice towards black cats" and he picked up the Dallas and threw him against the wall. He landed in my lap and formed an inseparable bond with me. After he landed in my lap, I was appaled, got upset, took Dallas upstairs and went to sleep and comforted him through the night. It is such a miracle he lived.

This is Bun Bun. He adopted ME at my Aunt and Uncles the other week. I had originally wanted the black and white spotted one to match a piece of colored vinyl I had just got, but that kitten didn't like me too well. So I picked up Bun Bun (then called Mike) and he proceeded to sleep on me and purr really loud. He is my little baby.
