One of my favorite filmmakers. Any other fans out there?

I think he's pretty cool, not one of my favorite filmmakers but he's good nonetheless.

John Waters is the best. I've been a fan for years and years. From Mondo Trasho all the way through Cecil B. Demented.

I've seen them all, especially "Female Trouble" and "Pink Flamingos". If you have not seen these, run and rent them!
BTW, he was great on The Simpsons"!

I personally like the old classics by John Waters like "crybaby" and "Serial Mom" never heard of "Pink Flamingos" though maybe it went straight to video?

People think I'm crazy, but I
actually think FEMALE TROUBLE
is a really GOOD movie. That
ending, with Divine looking at
the camera, is actually
chilling. (My Divine
autographed FT original poster
is one of my prized
possessions!) PINK FLAMINGOS
is such a hoot - borders on
porn - I still can't watch the
whistling ass-hole. MY
FAVORITE of the old ones,
though, is DESPERATE LIVING.
Nothing like killer lesbians
to get me going. Ironic, too,
because Divine isn't in it.

Pink Flamingos was HIS movie. Probably his most popular flick, the movie that defined the word "midnight show," made Divine a cult star and brought John Waters name to film culture. It wasn't his first but it was his first that got him popular (to a small extent).
