It's my last night in Houston. Just came back to the hotel after a kicking Italian dinner.

Turned off the lights in the hotel room to watch the lightning storm, have a glass of wine and listen to "Anodyne" by Uncle Tupelo.

This is a nice moment.

Aggie - you know how it is when you have a company dinner. No one can agree on a single damn thing. Whereas I wanted to partake in the local cuisine (TexMex) others had different ideas and I was outvoted. (This is why Democracy as a concept is doomed for failure :mad: ).

Fortunately, we ended up at "Grotto" for Italian which turned out to be fantastic and a solid hit all around.

You'll be happy that I went to the "Avalon Diner & Drugstore" for breakfast. Huge Southwest breakfast that will tide me over until dinner tonight.

I'm in the airport right now digesting. Thank God for this wireless Internet on my laptop or I would lose my freaking mind.
