i agree with alot of what this guy is saying. i am constantly appalled by the apathy of my peers. No one seems to care anymore, or want to care.

Of course, he doesn't realize it yet, by I am the greatest writer/ thinker/ philosohper of Generation X.

I like it. I'm technically Gen X according to this guy's chart, but I didn't pass the Test he gave. I failed to answer YES to 10 or more questions, so I'm not Gen X now.

I took a time machine to ten years ago when that page would have KICKED ASS and it still sucked!!!

Ten bucks says this goon ended up in his safety school/had at least three failed bands that thought they were gonna "make it"/gave up on writing the film script that was going to catapult him to fame. Oh, I wouldn't be shocked if he tried to publish his own comic book or "indie" 'zine, too.

Trust me, we can smell our own.

And for the record, the "real" Gen X is defined as being born between 1960 and 1980. Anything else is just lazy/wishful thinking.

Well put Mojo.

I was going to write this guy with one simple question: "What makes you so great that you can put down an entire generation of people, and worse yet lump us all together?" Because he gives NO background on himself as far as I can see.

( I like how he says "You're a Gen X Loser if you have more than one tattoo. That probably means he has one, and thinks that since he's so fucking great, everyone with more than one is excessive and foolish)

But then I remembered that paying this guy ANY attention is how he gets his jollies, so I stopped myself before I even wrote the letter.

He brings up some very valid points, and even a few about myself that I dislike. But he offers no solutions and lumps us all together. I WILL NOT be labeled by the likes of him or anyone.

He's anti Genx, yet he uses "r u" now c'mon, thats completely genX. hes telling us we cant spell or think and yet he cant spell are and you, fucking incredible. I am also appaled by my generation, no one knows anything anymore, i mean im a history nfreak, but these people do not even know the basics.
