There have been several people that have been emerald warriors for the Guardians of Oa in DC Comics Green Lantern series. From Sinestro, Tomar-Re, Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Alan Scott, Guy Gardner, and Kyle something I think (you know the new guy)...etc. But who was your favorite GL? and if there EVER was a Green Lantern movie, which GL should it revolve around?

Hal Jordan. Guy Gardner needs to die a horrible death.

Hal is the classic. No one beats Hal.
But Kyle is definitely next in line.

The new one. He's actually interesting to read about, at least what I saw of him in the newest JLA series...the whole "hey, he's just some guy who was given the ring" is fun. He's usually out of his depth and has to think on his feet. He's usually in awe of what he encounters and the people he's around, which is how the reader is supposed to feel. It's a good twist.
Wasn't Jordan given the ring because he was "purest of heart" or something? Something like that...and man, did it fucking show. What a two-dimensional, boring whitebread milquetoast of a character. Shocker he was only interesting when he was paired with flaming bohemian Green Arrow and when he massacred several million people. What a boring, awful waste of paper.
Too bad fanboys are such spineless faggots to realize so. What a bunch of girls. They love to have "tradition" shoved up their asses until they don't know any better.

Get the Ron Marz issues/trades. Very, very good!

Hal was the closest individual who was strong of will, since the ring is powered by will alone. At some point, Guy Gardner was told that had he been closer to the crash site, he would have been GL and not Hal.

I have to go with Kyle Radner. I think that's his name. I do like the way he feels he's out of his league and feels in awe when he's around the rest of the Justice League but still kicks ass.
The best scene for Guy Gardner is Justice League #5 1987, I think, where Guy challenges Batman to fight him for leadership of the league. Batman asks him to take off his ring. He takes off his ring saying he doesn't need it and Batman knocks him out with one punch.

Over the past couple of months I have slowly fallen in love with Kyle Rayner. But I always enjoyed Hal Jordan.

In more ways than one.
My vote goes to Kyle Rayner too. I just think that they have him dealing with the business of being a superhero like any guy who had that sort of thing just dumped in his lap. I mean hell his girfriend was killed and put in his refrigerator by a super villian named Mongul simply because she was the girlfriend of the new Green Lantern. How can you not love that shit?
