Who in your family would you have liked to have met?

I knew my great grand father he died when I was 5 he was 96 I remember him well.

His wife died 2 weeks before I was born It would have been nice to know her.

The biggest is My Grandfathers Mother, My grandfather's father died when my grandfather was 15 this mother remarried a few years later.

She was disowned by the family becouse in siccilian families you are expected to wear black the rest of your life and weep.. ( I don't think they realize the pain it causes.

I recently found out that My Grandfathers mother lived in the same town as I did but I never met her she died when I was 7 or so.

It would of been nice becouse I like the Italian family dinners and such.

I would LOVE to go visit the town we're from and the relatives I still have over in Croatia. My grandmother and her siblings moved to NYC when she was young. My grandparents went back in the 80s and visited our cousins and whoever is left over there. I just think it's amazing that I'm related to all these people in a country I've never been to and don't know the language.

I'd say my great-grandfather Vincenzo. For a guy with a grade-school education, he came to America and became a successful baker/pizza-maker/restauranteur, made his own wine, beer and liquor, and was a damn good carpenter.

Jesus. we're both Levites (of the tribe of Levi, for you goyim), and he seems like a pretty cool cat. Besides, we hippies gotta stick together.

I just think it's amazing that I'm related to all these people in a country I've never been to and don't know the language. You don't know what you're wishing for! About 2 months ago, my mother decided to track down some long lost cousins who had stayed in Argentina when she moved here 35 years ago. Long story short, these people are really creepy and way too excited to meet their distant family members. They're coming here at the end of the month. They speak NO English and I think they all want to stay at my house. I've been advised by friends to hide my social security card. What a disaster.

My father's father - died when my father was about 8. He had a pet dog (black) names nigger. He had an anchor tatooed on his forearm (like popeye). He had an awful temper and once picked up the dentist by the collar of his shirt before whaling him across the room because he extracted the wrong tooth from my dad's mouth. He had a hatrack made of a deer's head and coatrack made from upturned hooves and grew up in a tar-papered shack.

And somehow managed to have two sons who grew up to be a rocket scientist at NASA and a world-famous immunologist at Harvard.

I don't get it.

I too would like to have met my father's father. I heard he was quite the boozer and hellraiser. But he died lonely and lies in an unmarked grave.

I'd like to meet whichever one of them had 20 bucks to give me.

I have a schitzophrenic uncle who lives in a group home, that I see maybe twice a year.

Every time he sees his nieces and nephews, he says "Happy Birthday" and gives us $20. Sometimes he does it twice in a day.

He's in a home and OJ walks free? There's no justice.

That man is a saint Missy.

Please introduce me as his long lost nephew.
