Yeah man, this is one cool show. The choppers these guys make are awesome. The old man is a crabby ass fucker, he reminds me of my father. I think he's just jealous of his son, who took making choppers to a much higher level than the father ever could. Did you see that piece of shit tool box he made for the fireman bike ?? Paul had the right idea........use it for spare nuts and bolts, and keep it off the bike !! The old man did pick the right headlight for the bike, so he's good for something other than creating arguements.

I like the dad. Yeah, he's a hard ass but he's really proud of his kids.
Can you imagine dating his daughter and then having to meet HIM! Worse than Meet The Parents!
And I think the dad totally digs taking Cody under his wing.

Yeah, the daughter doesn't tell him they make custom American bikes, and he pulls up on a Honda !!

Last night I noticed his kid Mike flinching when he went to hug him. Anyways really funny show. Reminds me of working with a friend of mine for his dad. All the arguments and the psycotic cleaning.

I love this show. It's fanfuckingtastic.
And frankly, it's so much better overall than Monster Garage that it's not even funny.

This show is great.

It was cool that Paul Sr. gave Cody the bike they built.

Yeah, Paul Sr. did a nice thing there, really made the kid feel like part of the family........but what about Vinnie ?? He's been there a long time, did he ever get a bike, considering how many he built over the years ??
I'm looking forward to seeing the stealth chopper. Paul has nice vision as an artist, as I liked his choice of using a rectangular frame instead of a round one. I also like the idea of a all-blacked out look. I'm sure the gas tank will come out looking sweet.........and Pop's will take the credit in the end for his design ideas, like always.

usually watch it every Monday while i'm working...
the Dad is cool, a little dopey like the curly haired son... it was funny when the Dad went to the other shop nearby and couldn't find the drillbits. He kept blaming the guys at the main shop until his son pulled them out from under his nose...
and they sure took care of that bees nest in the grass, nothing a couple gallons of gasoline couldn't take care of. even there the "got it together" son went to light the gas and the Dad says "you're never gonna be able to light that", all it took was one match...
beautiful, amazing machines or pieces of art...

all i have to say is it seems they make the most uncomfortable handlebar locations. i can't imagine having my arms fully stretched and elevated for long periods of time. the bikes are works of art but they need to take more consideration on arm comfort...
just me opinion...

The stealth chopper came out nice, but I've seen them build much nicer ones. The rear wheel and fender looked killer. I would not want to be the owner of that bike after the "work" they did on the engine !! What drama, as Vinnie was getting pissed at the hack with the blow torch.
Vinnie seems to be getting aggravated at Paul Jr, as Paul was playing around while the old man was outta town. The old man Dr0pped the ball, as some of the parts came back chromed, instead of being blacked out ( and then he says "I thought it was all going to be black".......no shit Sherlock, you screwed up.......now go yell at yourself ! )
Next week Mikey gives it a shot, as he tried to make a music related theme bike, which is making me cringe already as I can hear the verbal putdowns the old man is gonna throw Mikey's way.
This is a awesome show, and the end shot of Paul riding along with the helicopter was cool. I wish they would get back to more of the assembly part of the bike tho, instead of seeing Pop's playing tennis and riding with his girlfriend.

Paul Jr. and Sr. were on the 94.7 morning show a couple of weeks ago. The first thing Mark asked Paul Jr. was "What did you get Paul Sr. for Father's Day?". Without even pausing, Paul Jr. said "Nothing!". Fucking priceless.

But Mikey does the paperwork, not fabricate bikes, so Mikey taking extra time on a bike woulsn't impact their business as much.

Mrs. Impact and I watch the whole Monster House-Choppers block, she loves Monster House and Choppers, where I'm a fan of Monster Garage and Choppers so it works out well.
all i have to say is it seems they make the most uncomfortable handlebar locations. i can't imagine having my arms fully stretched and elevated for long periods of time. the bikes are works of art but they need to take more consideration on arm comfort...
The whole purpose of the chopper's handle bars are to be streched, Granted the Comanche bike was a bit extreme but other than that their bars are relativly normal. Also most of the theme bikes are Jockey shifts, which require high(read: less sensitive) bars so you can take your hand off of them to shift the bike.
Maybe this attitude comes from working as a mechanic and car stereo fabricator, but I think Paul Jr. is annoying as hell. He procrastinates too much and thinks the entire shop runs around his bikes.
