his hair is the funniest part...the shaved part i guess is only able to partially grow back...shouldn't they have shaved that part bald? and i think if he got a hot wet rag he can wash the ash off his face. it was dumb in my opinon...before he unmasked i was hoping the WWE would do the usual not give you the promised ending and have HHH say if Kane became the 4th member he could keep his mask on...what happened to that 4th member anyway?

Wasn't there an instance a few years back when they were going to unmask Kane and there was an actual mask made for him that LOOKED like he had burns? Does the WWE have no budget or is it going to covering up the upper levels with black tarp?

I also remember when the Maximum Sweat figures were out, there was a Kane that had a removable mask. His face was all burned and it looked hella cool.

I didn't really put the connection together at first that he had shaved his head but his hair did look weird when he came down to the ring. I didn't think it had been parted before. Has he been wearing a wig this whole time? The ash on his face (the black shit) may have just been from what he puts around his eyes. I sure hope he won't come out like that from now on.

I swear what they did in that match was totally unclassy. I guess they had to balance it out, but it still sucked ass. They honestly could have done a better job, but then again, maybe its his perspective of him being a monster under that mask that caused him to go nuts like that.

I think he's been unmasked about 4 times. They even had a highlight of Batista unmasking him a few months ago.

Me and my friends used to have a theory that they put some sort of drug in the WWF Ice Cream bars that would make you forget that the people who are best buddies now were having a blood feud 3 months earlier and one of the guys were a different character.

That was the dumbest crap i have seen in a long time. I had high hopes that the WWE would have him look normal, so he could develope a new character. Leave it up to the writers to destroy one of the more interesting stories to develope in the last year. All true wrestling fans know that he's not disfigured, and that he was the fake Deisel. They changed The Undertakers gimmick, and it made him more interesting (for awhile anyway), now they're just destroying Kane's character and career. He looked like a F-ing idiot! Screw you Vince for allowing this to happen! Why was Kane the only gimmick wrestler in the WWE left anyway? Mick Foley stopped being ManKind, The Undertaker wasn't dead anymore,and countless others scrapped their gimmicks in the late nineties. So why couldn't Kane? Why did they have to stick with his story?

HOLY FUCK NO. While I'm not surprised that HHH decided to add one more "achievement" to his career (all of those titles and "memorable" events won't earn you a place in the history books as anything other than a shitty worker, Hunter), I would have been absolutely fucking BALLISTIC if they had given this honor (and I use that word in its loosest connotation possible) to Orton.

I fucking hate him. I do. Last night's show was NOTHING if not Orton being shoved down our throats. Anyone else out there find as sad as I do that Foley has to effectively come out of retirement to a) plug a book that he'd be better off just promoting on his own and b) put over a kid who's greener than Maven & Nowinski combined??? It pisses me off that there are a dozen guys on the roster RIGHT NOW who are better than Orton in every way possible but are shoved aside in order to make this ass the "next big thing." Orton is busy getting verbal blowjobs from JR while Booker T is curtain-jerking and RVD is relegated to sidekick with minimal airtime. NOW YOU TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE WWE TODAY.

I'm with you canofsoup, but I also feel their pain. Wrestling CAN STILL be funny, it's just been mostly shit for awhile. Some are quicker to give up on it than others. I gave up on it like a year ago.

At it's best it was a great show to watch and keep up with. At it's worst, it's a guy with masqara all over his face and a hair cut that Ray Charles gave to him.

There's some of us who actually love what WWe is doing right now. There's also those who watch in hopes that WWe will ''finally do something right,'' and still others who watch merely out of habit or because they need some wrestling fix. However, when Stalker Patty's de-wigging is more interesting than Kane's unmasking, that's a sign that it's time to stop watching. I'm sticking with Smackdown.

He is most definitely NOT boring - not only is his work good and often exciting, he's VERY over with the crowd because of that.

Your criticism is coming from the same school of thought that Benoit is boring and not worth our time just because he can't cut a promo like the Rock. I find that whole mindset flawed.

Let's count his moves:
Spinaroonie (no comment)
Axe kick (oooh, a shitty leg to the back of the head, that's scary)
Book End (Wow, a Rockbottom rip off, how original)

Three SIGNATURE moves. Obviously, he knows many more.

BTW, please don't start labeling the BookEnd as a ripoff, seeing as the Rock Bottom was blatantly ripped off BY the Rock. The RB is a uranage (or variation thereof), a judo move, which was used by wrestlers in Japan.

It's foolish to argue who's ripping off whom, as everyone does it (Is Orton paying homage to DDP or Johnny Ace by using the Diamond Cutter?).

So stop saying he should be pushed.

Why? He's talented. He has charisma. He's over. It's a good trifecta.

Of all of the names you listed, only ONE - Jericho - deserves a shot more than Booker. Orton doesn't deserve it BY FAR. Nowinski is too green, although he's better than Orton. RVD doesn't have Booker's talent and, unfortunately, isn't near as over. And Hurricane, although I'm a fan, is a JTTS and a comedy act.

I would do that as well, but because of the PPV game, i have to watch raw one month and smackdown every month. Smackdown is a better product from the WWE for some reason.

No, I hate the Rock. He is boring, does the same boring interview every week, and has less moves than Booker T.

Benoit doesn't talk, yet I still am a huge fan because he puts on an awesome match everytime.

Just because Booker has less entertainment value than Orton doesn't mean you should shortchange Orton. He's going places.

I guess the bottom line for me is this.

I loved this shit. LOVED IT! I keep waiting and waiting for something positive to happen but my patience is wearing thin. I equate this with sticking with a baseball team that is LOUSY (Phillies) for years and years because I am a die hard and a fan. I am not gonna be fairweather fan and ONLY watch when it is good. I stuck through the Billionaire Ted shit back in the early to mid 90's and I will stick with this shit now. There are bright spots but the bad definitely outweighs the good.

Besides, once WWE starts to get good again this will be a good frame of reference as to how bad things got. Things always have to get bad before they get better.

A little opposing competition MIGHT help a bit on Monday nights too. It got so bad the other week I found the Three's Company Movie interesting. UGH!

I know in some way the WWE is better than this.

I was very disappointed with the unmasking of Kane. Call me crazy, but I expected the make-up artists and the wwe to make a better effort at making Kane look like the "hideous creature" J.R's been talking about all these years. What a crock.

Good point. I didn't notice that until now. However, continuity isn't something the WWE has been successful at. How many storylines, that could have worked, have been dropped only to be replaced by a poor excuse for one?
