Gambling and the Church (the hyprocsy)

Gambling is supposed to be morally wrong and a sin in certain religions but yet you have church run BINGO, church sponsered trips to A.C., Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, etc., Church sponsered raffles, 50/50's and chinese auctions. What's wrong and what's right anymore? How can people of religious backgrounds preach about the sins and negative effects of gambling when they sponser the same activities that they condemn? It makes no sense.

Not to mention the gambling of the religon itself. Your BETTING there is a higher figure (God) of some sort. Gambling that there is a hell, or gambling theres not...etc...etc...

MDR, you be going to church lately, and thinking bad thoughts...about gambling. lol.

thats like asking a doctor why he prescribes vikes when he knows certain ppl will use them recreationally?

they dont condone u gambling ur mortgage payment, but if u have an extra hundred y not? and have u gone on any of these trips? or bingo nite? its all old ppl. and old ppl are not notorious big spenders unless ur counting their grandchildren.
