Whats wrong with me??

I was wondering if you could
help me out, you see for some
reason i am not able to call
ron and fez up and add
something to the show. I don't
know why i can't call, even
when what ever i have to say
is helpfuly and/or funny. i
dont know what is wrong with

DIXXON - Could you please be more specific regarding exactly what your question is?

As I'm sure you know, the phone numbers for the studio are (212) 757-1027 and (877) 692-1027. The lines are open throughout the show, but they are busy sometimes for 1/2 hour or more at a time. Even when you get through, the call screener is busy dealing with 20 or more calls at a time and the hold times can be lengthy.

You should not take this personally. The congested phone lines are great as they show the continuing popularity and growth of the show.

If every call were put through, the entire show would be callers. Similarly, if Ron read every IM aloud, the show would be all IM's.

I suggest you keep trying to call when you feel you have something to add. It may take awhile, but eventually you'll get put on.

DIXXON - A certain messure of unease or nervousness isn't unusual. Perhaps you're worried about how you'll sound on the air or you're intimidated by the number of people who will hear your voice.

Try to think of your phone call as just that - a phone call. Chances are you'll sound fine. If not, big deal. You'll sound better next time you call. Every time you call, it will become easier to do so.
