Senators assistant coach Roger Neilson, a Hall of Famer who coached more than a quarter century in the NHL, died Saturday morning after a battle with cancer.

I will miss his ties.

I still have the Rangers hat that I bought in 8th grade because it was the same one he wore when he was coaching - the blue wool with the red capitals italicized "RANGERS" across the front.

Very sad to hear. I think everyone was rooting for him after he was getting pushed around from team to team in the NHL. Anyone else think he used to look like Dr.Who?
