I live about a mile away from the George Washington Bridge here in New Jersey, so I often walk to the bridge and catch a bus into Manhattan.

People are constantly pulling up along side me to ask directions, and I'm fucking sick of it. There is something fundamentally creepy about a car pulling up along side you. There is always that remote chance that it's some maniac.

The other day I'm crossing a busy highway at the light and some jackass starts asking for directions to the Palisades Parkway. Hey, fuckwad, I'm crossing the road, the light is going to change in about 2 seconds, and you're distracting me. I don't want to get hit by a truck just because you don't know where the fuck you're going.

Yea when we were little kids my house was on the corner and everyone one would stop and ask us for directions... yea right 9 year old kids giving directions.... finally we got wise.. this one guy is proboplly still lost from the wild goose chase we sent him on. Oh how many times people came back looking to kick our asses. ;p
