Al Dukes- and why he's so "picky"

I kinda figured out why Al Dukes has constantly given up the chance to date girls who have basically begged him to go out on a date.

I'm no professional psychologist, but I feel that since Al dukes has been so "socially retarded" most of his life, he's trying to make up for it by making everything in his life go at the same pace as he's going.

He feels that a girl who has been with to many men or a girl who is older (and more experienced in general) will be above his level.

He wants to be in control, so he gives up the chance to be with ANY woman, which is enough evidence to prove his insanity.

He's literally the saddest, most boring and monotunous person I've ever heard of in my life. How can a man get this way, and who should we hold responsible?

Are we going to blame the MOther Again? Everytime people (mostly guys) screw up, we blame their mothers, now why is that? Al Dukes should take responsibility for his own BORING actions.

While I don't agree with Al's criteria (i.e. having a quota on how many men a prospective partner has had 'relations' with to be deemed acceptable), I can understand his reluctance to date the women who have been thrust on him while at the show. Sure, most guys would love to date a chick who likes to be spanked, but if he's not into it, or doesn't feel a spark, why should he waste both their time with a relationship that will go nowhere? Of course, this only makes sense in the context of Al looking for a long termer, rather than just someone to bang. That said, I can somewhat understand his perspective.

VEGETA - There are a lot of dynamics being played out here.

Al claims to prefer a 24 year old inexperienced woman but has previously remarked that a 19 year old woman was OK. A 30 year old however was out of the question. He said he just wasn't "attracted to that age."

Al has difficulty relating to people in general. He wants a woman who is weaker and less experienced than he so he can impress her with his worldliness. He wants to feel superior to a woman before he'd consider dating her. This is the way he tries to compensate for being difficulty relating to people.

Al once commented taht the women he dates up leaving for another guy. Perhaps someone who is more worldly, more knowledgeable and/or more fun.

His claims of looking for a relationship doesn't match his practice of dating younger woman. Women closer to his age, although typically more worldly and thus not as easy to impress, are much more interested in a relationship.

Al should find some other way to boost his self-confidence and go out with people because he likes them, not because they fit some conflicting criteria he has set up. Otherwise he is doomed to failure.

Here's a theory I have that might be a bit odd but it's just a theory. Al has "the one that got away" syndrome. By this I mean in high school (or college) there was a girl he was completely infatuated with, obsessed with, possibly in love as much as an Adolescent Dukes could be in. I'm going to guess she was older than he was. Because he looked 12, was socially insecure, socially retarded (though I didn't look 12 I was pretty much the same way as him. For most of high school, don't know how it changed but it did. I wasn't popular per se or go out on weekends but I was getting less retarded).

My guess is that if there was one, this "love of his life" didn't turn him down because she never had a chance to. He probably never spoke up to her just admired her from afar. So he's probably going through his entire life trying to find this one girl who is exactly like her in everyway.

Was her sexual history the same as Al hoped? He probably never knew but this is his perfect girl, his fantasy woman so he made up a sexual history of hers. He can't spark with anyone because she doesn't look like her, he can't have adequate sex with someone because they aren't like her. His entire life is bent on finding The Lost Girl, the girl he always wanted, the unrequited love he has and probably always will.

He might be picky but that's just because he has one specific image he's going for.,

My theory is that Sisqo Libarace, Charles Nelson Riley, Nathan Lane and Mr. Brady from the brady bunch are all dancing around Al Dukes' head, vying for supremecy.

I agree with you on this, Horde King, except I don't think it's about his difficultly in relating to people, it's more about his sexual inexperience. He looks for younger and less experienced women so his own inexperience isn't evident.

The other thing is that Al got a bit of a late start in this realm, and I think he feels that his chance at bagging a girl in her early twenties is diminishing fast as he moves into his early thirties. Geez, he didn't even wack off until he was 22 (?) - I think he feels like he's missed out.
