Who the hell cares about this excuse of a holiday. I mean theres no parades, no movie marathons, no tv specials, no presents, no religion, no heartfelt feelings between an individual. The most publicity this holiday got was from the simpsons.

theres no paradesthere was also a parade in saratoga springs. i was up there yesterday, and had to detour through some state park or something instead of going down that street. that was a fun delay after a nice three hour drive.

I believe retired military can wear their uniforms and medals. My friend who is a retired USMC Master Guns wore his to his sons' graduation from Parris Island.

Pretty much, you see old vets wear their gear at parades and other ceremonies.
