i know u ppl and ur everquest but ive waited for this for years now. this is gonna b a worldwide event. u will b able to play with the japs, and against anyone in north america, and in europe soon as it comes out there. i cna finally show the world what i can do in final fantasy.....i await this very much. also the hard drive upgrade is gonna make it even more worthwhile.

sounds cool. However, before FF XI comes out you have to wad through FF X-2. Thanks to emulators i must say i have played every FF Game, even X-2 (Imports rock, but that game wasn't my favorite). I want this new FF so bad, almost like a druggie wants crack

hmm... with Everquest on the decline, (they keep changing it to make it easier and easier...) most of the current and soon-to-be-released MMORPG's don't seem like all they're cracked up to be, (Ugh, Including Galaxies) FFXI I'm sure will be hit or miss...

I think I'll wait until I can sell my soul for a better computer and get either World of Warcraft or Warhammer Online when they come out...

i must say i have played every FF Game, even X-2


i envy u. how was it? ffx is my second favorite and the idea of them expanding on the story seems really cool. especially since, if ffx-2 does well, square said they'll create a ff 7-2. and thats what i want more than any other game.

its coming out early 2004 for ps2, late 2003 for PC.

as for the hard drive, it will b packaged with the game. its going to be 40 gigs of pure power. see this game is taking playstation to where its never been taken. u cna play anyone on earth when its all said and done. and all the communications will b translated by the playstation itself. it will b the most revolutionary game ever. and its in the final fantasy series so its guaranteed to to impress ppl.

I've never paid for a MMORPG. Beta tested a coup-le, but can't really put in the devotion required or want to pay the retail cost plus the monthly fees.

a friend of mine plays it non-stop. I dunno I'm into MMORPGs n all but this one looked really boring. I'm still addicted to Ultima Online(free shards of course). But once I get a better comp I might go for Planetside or Guild Wars.
