drivin for the first time

well i got my permit so my dad took me out to practice driving
i had never diven anything past bumper cars before then
not only was i nervous-it was a stick shift
ugh i sucked
i barely got the car moving

what was ur first time like and
would it be better to just learn on an automatic

your permit, and take it from
me, you are definitely better
off learning on a stick shift.
You will learn so much more
about gaining that feel for
driving, and you'll also never
be stuck being one of those
pathetic losers who say "I
can't drive stick!" Take it

I agree. Although i haven't driven yet, I do know that my sister learned easier from automatic. Although she would have been so much better off having learned stick, because when she tried learning stick, she had such a hard time.

Play racing games in the arcade. That's how I learned how to drive before I got even close to getting my permit/license. Hmm, maybe that's why I seem to wreck every car I get behind the wheel of....oh well...
