When Marty went back to the 1800's and had no gas because his gas tank was hit by the Indians arrows, and Doc had to rig up the train to make it go 88 MPH, why didnt they just use the gas from the Delorian that Doc had sealed in the mine for Marty's later use?

How come when Marty talked to his old ancestor from the 1800s there was no disruption in the space time continum. I mean that's almost like his past self.

I guess if we analyse everything, there wouldnt be a need for a movie! It is true about Biff, he met and interacted with his younger self. But, it did affect the future too. Imagine if his affecting his future caused Marty to NOT go back in time? Weird.

Hear are the two reason I got on the commentary on the Back to te Future3 DVD
1) Because you would drain the gas out of a car that you would put into storage for that many years.
2) Doc didn't want to disturb the DeLoerean because he was afraid of breaking something and it would effect the space-time continum

Was there even gas in the car when he dug it out of the mine, he probably put the gas in it. And even if there was gas in it, doc had to use it to get back to the 1800's, and really, are you gonna spend your time digging a car out of a tunnel. I think not, why not have some fun and cause yourself tons of trouble by using a train.

But that is still not what they are saying, they are saying that the doc said that if jennifer met her future self the space time continuim COULD be disrupted. However he also said that nothng could happen as well, and having to look like yourself isnt the problem, its knowing what you turn into that would disrupt it.

This leads to my next question....The gas in the delorean would leak over 70 years. Deloreans ran on unleaded gas if the delorean took leaded gas the engine would have problems...hmmmmmm

When Jennifer sees herself in the future, they each recognize each other and immediately pass out. The "end of the universe" theory does not happen because they are able to bring Jennifer back to 1985 before she realizes what has happened.

In Biff's case, his 1955 self was so stupid that he didn't recognized himself in 60 years. "He says he was a distant relative, but I didn't see any resemblance."

Speaking of Biff, since he was as dumb as a brick, how was he able to run the time machine to to go back to 1955 AND make it back to 2015?

Also, how did he get back without feeding Mr. Fusion in 1955? And if he did, how did he know how to do that?

and as for mr fusion, doc put fuel in that at the beginning of the second one, and i guess that was enough.

And as for the question about transfering gas, if you watch the second one youll see that when they dig it up a part is broken from the delorean he stashed, so theyd either need to transfer gas into a tank with a hole in it, or replace the peice that was only found in japan, and i dont think they had adhesives back then.

ok here's the deal with the gas thing - they would have drained the gas before burying the car in the mine, else the gas would have evaporated over time, and left awful crud in the engine, preventing it from ever running again. Doc probably used the gas at some point to get rid of it.

Supposedly, Marty showed up a few days after Doc BURIED the car in the mine!

And speaking of Doc's warning of seeing your future self having an influence on the space/time continuum.. why did he want Marty to see his own son and future home and self? I know, without all this, there wouldnt BE a movie, Im just questioning the logic behind the idea.

He never said visit the house, etc. He wanted to save his son by replacing him in the confrontation with Biff's grandson. He went to the house to get Jennifer.
