I think he is a great heal. He hardly misses his spots and I do admit he is not a great
technicians he is still great to watch. As for him holding on the belt so long. I think it
is cool. When he finally does lose it will be huge. I am in favor of long title
reigns............

honestly, i'm not a fan of Criple H. I think thats because he rarely loses a match now, because he's with the boss's daughter. To push him that hard and have him have a long title reign is stupid just because he's with Steph.

Actually, once upon a time, I dug Trips, A few years ago, during his DX days and just before his leg injury, he was a good heel and busted his ass in almost every match. I think the quad injury fucked him up in more ways than one... not to mention that he's pretty much complacent with the fact he's practically guaranteed to be a main eventer for the rest of his career. He's lazy, he's bulky, and he just stinks now.

I dont like him but its notbecause hes had the belt forever. Its because hes in lame ass angles. To old school wrestling fans HHH vs Nash should be historical and anticipated.....but who even cares?! What the fuck are these 2 gonna do in that cage? Hopefully Nash doesnt pull his groin stepping over the top rope again.

Mad props to Fluff for the sig and C.O.soup for hosting!

Non of his matches have exciting finishes anymore. He just seems to pull the pedigree out of his ass and win.

The thing that I agree with the most is teenweek's statement about not having to have the title in order to be a good heal. Triple H is obviously been reinvented as the so called "second comming" of Flair. The only way I would respect him as champion would to have been for him to earn the championship. The fact that they booked it as the title being awarded to him was horrible. There should have been a battle royal or something. There should have been some kind of match that showed he wants that championship mre than anyone else. Now, the match where he first defended his newly rewarded title against Flair was good, but it just wasn't enough for me. I respect his talent as a wrestler, but I don't respect his inability to put others over very well.

I agree with Peachy. The quad injury was the end.
I also agree with Spicy. Just givin' him the belt was a joke.
At least they were smart enough to have a battle royal (albeit crappy) for the I.C. Belt.
I'm glad Christian is gettin' the singles push finally! I also would not have a problem with Booker goin' over at the PPV. It's long overdue, even though he should be World Champ.

He hardly misses his spots
That's not difficult when you consistently phone the match in.

I disagree. He pulls the sledgehammer from under the ring and wins. I think he's boring in matches, boring as a heel, and when he's on I'm more likely to change the channel. To me he's just not interesting enough for me to watch. People say that he's great as a heel but anyone can be an asshole. The trick is to be an INTERESTING asshole and Trips just doesn't pull it off convincingly. I think the acid test of a heel is that the fans can't wait to see him get his ass kicked, but with me HHH is a vacuum. I can't wait for someone else to get on the TV. I don't care if he loses the belt he has. I don't consider it a real championship anymore. It's more like a vanity plate. How much worth can a belt have when the guy who's held it longest had it handed to him and B) he uses a sledgehammer to keep it damn near EVERY FUCKING TIME? How great can a heel be if he can't keep it interesting? Everyone hates him but why? Because he's obnoxious? Because he's underhanded? Because he does everything a heel ought to do? Or is it because the quality of product he puts out is for shit. Does anyone think that HHH lends any kind of credibility to that belt if he always cheats the SAME way to keep it? Do you really think that HHH hitting his opponent with a sledge hammer to get the win AGAIN is entertaining? Do his long drawn out speeches about how great he is make you hate him? Or do they make you think he talks for too long just to say the same things he said last week? Is hit or miss good enough for a guy who is the focal point of Raw week in and week out? Let's face it. Whether you like it or not he is the man on Raw. This is the guy who's held the title for at least 80% of the year. Let's look at his feuds: RVD and Steiner. That's four months right there of title matches that sucked. Add Kane to the mix and that's six months because those matches blew also. If I mention the matches with Shawn Michaels it only serves to lend creedence to the never ending string of conspiracy theories. So for the sake of argument let's take out the Shawn Michaels matches so no one bitches. What do you have left as far as title matches? One Booker T match which was pretty good and one that opened the door for another conspiracy theory making Kevin Nash the #1 contender despite the fact that he hasn't FACED anybody. And (with the exception of the Shawn Michaels matches) the only ones he didn't win using a sledgehammer. Welcome to the Game. Anyone bored yet?

No.

Unless he were to tear his quad again. I would stare enraptured at the TV screen for that.

I also used to be a big fan of his during the DX days. I felt like he was being pushed down our throats during the beginning of the "McMahon-Helmsley" era. But at least he had a lot of really good matches at that point. Once he came back from his injury, he became a completely different wrestler. Aside from the occassional decent match, he was (and is) very difficult to watch now. And now becoming a McMahon is only going to make it worse. He has hogged up most of the air time on Raw since the brand extension, he has not come close to the performer he once was, and he has derailed the pushes of all those who are worthy. So with that, I will continue to say- Damn you Levesque, DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!!

Im suprized nobody adressed the one thing that has been bothering me with HHH... when him and Ric Flair come on at around 9:30 and start talking on the mic until 9:45... can ANYONE follow what they're saying? I stop paying attention for 10 seconds and he completely loses me. It seems like unnessisary filler when you have so many other great wrestlers just competing for air time on Sunday Night Heat.

I like the concept of having long title reigns.. but does anyone even care he has the title? I think now would be an excellent time to have Jericho step in and get the title for a while. He's becoming the top heel now that Rocky is a good guy again.

Ever since he's teamed up with Ric Flair I've lost all interest in HHH. When his music hits thats my cue to get a sandwich.

Ah, but you forget that WWe seems to consider Jericho's reign as ''undisputed'' champ to be an utter failure. As much as it pains me to say so, he'll never hold that belt.

And no, you're not alone in hating the long promos... but they don't bother me so much ever since I discovered a nifty invention known as the mute button. :)

I'm not so sure of that. He may eventually get it again.

Jericho's biggest asset is that he's so damn charismatic and talented that he's found a way to ALWAYS be over, no matter what shit they've given him. Maybe that's why HHH is so jealous of him.

Good point Se7en. I was about to make the same point. I think that Triple H is a genius when it comes to manipulating the entire company, even a man who is famous for being manipulative on and off camera (speaking of Vinny Mac of course). That's why he is still at the top, and banging the bosses daughter who is also head writer doens't hinder it either.

Tonight's PPV(Badd Blood) was a textbook example of why HHHIV sucks a monkey's ass. There is absolutely no fire in his matches. Imagine, if you will, Foley with that screwdriver in his hands. I mean, it's quite egregious in my estimation to introduce a weapon like that to a wrestling ring, because it's too easy. Why not hide knives under the ring if we're going down this road. But the worst part of it was, the announcers are selling like mad, and it was just so damn dull. Imagine Funk with that, Abdullah, hell, Roddy Piper. It should have been a moment to go on the Raw opening highlight reel, and HHHIV can't get any milage out of the moment. But that's more of a minor pet peeve. My question is, why sully the hell and the cell's reputation with this match? It could have just as easily been a cage match. HitC is for highspots and people that can actually use what's availble to them. Hell, if Foley and the Undertaker can climb that son of a bitch, there's no reason these two homos couldn't. And I'm sure HHHIV decided to do continue his track record of gloming of legends heat(first HBK, then Flair, now Mick) but he really exposed his ineptitude. Because the biggest damn pop of the match was for Mr. Socko. And the match that had been so dull do to predictibility became energized with the possibility that perhaps HHHIV could finally lose??? When Nash just missed a three-count, the juice left, obvious that we were going to be subject to another month at least of Mr. Stephanie McMahon. They need to get the belt off him ASAP. He hasn't been over for 2 years, and only then at the expense of Austin. Call him Mr. Heatmeiser!

I'm going to agree with everyone else here, and across the country, who believe that HHH does NOT need to have that belt for this long. It's bordering the annoying line. Actually, I think he passed it a while ago.

I don't enjoy watching HHH matches. It seems to me that they're just protocol, necessary, almost contractual.
