With the passing of Freddie Blassie it brought me back to the days when wrestlers had managers. The majority of them were heels. My favorites were the Grand Wizard, Paul Jones, and Bobby the Brain Heenan

most people hated her, but i liked sherry martel as a manager with the Macho Man. she busted her ass all the time and the male wrestlers used to toss her around. I remember going to the Coliseum and there was a cage match between Savage and i'm not 100% sure who, but she got her ass tossed around the cage. she got the cage to the face more than the wrestlers involved.
but Heenan is the best manager in my opinion. he was funny and got the crowd to hate him.

Heenan was, indeed, a god amongst managers.
I also admired Jim Cornette during his time with the Midnight Express, and Paul E. Dangerously. Both were great mouthpieces who always stuck their noses in where they didn't belong.

I liked Michael Hayes as the Hardy Boyz manager. I also liked when DDP started out as a manger. Good times, good times. (or should that be TWO TIME, TWO TIME!!)
