Now, before I get started, I am far from full retirement. It's just that I went to a Tax Attorney today to figure some things out. It's my wishes to fully retire at 55 years of age because I don't want to do what I see many other's do- work themselves to death and not reap any rewards out of their hard work.
The good news is that my attorney (and his accountant) both agreed that I could probably retire this minute if I wanted to. Before she died, my wife had done a lot of prudent investing in municipal bonds and the such. I recently sold my home in the city and paid my kids college bills off. So I am pretty solvent at this time of my life. No big bills or debts to worry about. I have some plans what I want to do with my leisure time.
Has anyone here (I know there are alot of young people here who haven't done so) seriously thought about what they want to do when they finish working for their lives. I'd like to here some suggestions what you're plans may be.
