the only superstars this brand name has .. is KURT.. THATS it.... lesnar only reson hes main eventing is because he got such the push and no one else is there.......

i love the cruiserweights.. and please push em.. but smackdowns main event is mattitude..

They're doing what they can with what they have right now. And I enjoy Smackdown more then Raw anyway. Aside from Jericho, RVD and the Dudleys, I don't care for most everyone else on RAW anyway.

This is why I hate you HTH. Ultimo Dragon vs. Rey Mysterio can sure as hell be the main event! If not, it would definitely be one of them. WE all saw how the main event on Smackdwon was Rey vs Mattitude for the title and what a great match those guys put on. Now imagine these two guys going one on one? I think it would be incredible and definitely worth of being a main event.

Look, I'll just repeat what I heard another say in another forum: The only way that the HHH / Nash HITC match is going to be any good is if they have Foley be the special guest ref, and he does all of the bumps himself while HHH and Nash sit in the corner and applaud appreciatively.

Look, I'm not saying that Smackdown doesn't have its own problems going into their own brand PPV, but Nash / HHH being better than anything SD can produce????

Christ, theirs is a feud so stale, and their ability so deteoriated, that they have to not only use their ultimate gimmick match, but ALSO bring in a surprise ref (likely to be Foley, one of the most beloved of all former WWE superstars) JUST to make people care a LITTLE.

So far, the only thing that the RAW PPV has going for it is Michaels vs. Flair (which is just a midcard match / feud, but it manages to be about 1000 times more compelling and captivating and emotional than all the shit done with Nash / HHH in the past 3 months). Booker T v. Christian might be good, and Jericho v. Goldber might be interesting IF they can book it right (we all know who's going over, let's just see if they can do it in a way that doesn't make Chris look like a total jobber).

this is the match i'm looking forward to the most...by far. It sucks that Jericho is going to lose, but i'm hoping there may be some kind of swerve....though i know i will be disappointed.

I watch Smackdown every week, I see raw maybe 4 times a year.

I trained with Charlie Haas for a couple of weeks 4 years ago so I'm a little biased.

Plus I think Kurt Angle is the best all around performer in either brand.

Hogan, Show, A-train I don't care for but I'm seeing some improvement in Lesnar becoming a little more well rounded.

Things on Raw seem to be the same, HHH at the top, good talent being wasted, and 40 minutes of interviews.

Nobody ever said it would be the greatest PPV ever (That would be the original WCW Uncensored), our argument was that you were saying how horrible a Smackdown PPV would be and we were trying to show you that:

A) Raw's Bad Blood PPV wasn't that great
and
B)There can be some real good match ups with the current Smackdown roster. Not all are going to be great, but they should be better then Test/Steiner.

I'm seeing some improvement in Lesnar becoming a little more well rounded.


Lesnar has developed into a pretty solid worker. They still won't let him bust out his amateur moves, but he's showing more charisma in the ring and tons more energy and selling. He's been selling his ASS off lately, mainly for Big Show, but also for scrubs like the F.B.I. The man has carried Big Show to watchable matches - on that fact alone, I think he's improved quite a bit.

As for the Vengeance PPV - on paper it's better than the Badd Blood (although that's not that hard), but they're already screwing it up by adding Big Show to the main event and by inserting a Taker / Cena match (this is bad, of course, because it will take an act of God to make Taker job to Cena).

No one's going to argue with you that Sable vs Steph is a waste of ring time that could be used for some actual wrestlers. It'd be nice if they would put Zach against one of the cruiserweights instead of McEgo. And don't even get me started on the potential of Billy Gunn as the US champ.

Still, I'm looking forward to this PPV. The main event even looks good to me: Lesnar and Angle have both proven that they can have good matches with the Big Show. And ANYTHING is better than the standard ending of a RAW PPV (sledgehammer/pedigree out of nowhere/Trips makes another guy look weak).

And face it: Badd Blood sucked donkey balls.
