I admit, my body has been my "emotional barometer" most of my life. I was an EXTREMELY fat child when my mom was the most sick. Yet, the only things family members and neighbors were concerned with was the fact that I was too fat to ever "attract a man." I was 10! Once I "got over" losing my mom after she died, I lost the weight. After my dad died, I topped the scales yet, again.

It's hard being fat. Trust me, when all the planets are aligned, it's easy to be a size 6 (I have been!). Then life happens. I turn to the Hagen Daz instead of the heroin. And, also, running 40 miles a week isn't as fun as it used to be.

This is the fattest I've been in EONS. I'm so mad at myself!! I've never had a boyfriend at this weight. How he puts up with it is beyond me.

The worst thing is, I feel like less of a person.
