I watched it last night and thought the show wasn't very good. The opening Matrix spoof wasn't funny except for a few Will Ferrell lines. The Vince Vaughn ass bit was kinda funny.

Stifler and Timberlake didn't really do anything, so I don't really have an opinion on them. Eminem's Crank Yankers acception speech was kinda funny, as was that little goblin thing for LotR's.

Pinks new song really sucks, 50 Cent was good and the T.A.T.U. performance was pretty hot. The hottest chicks were Allison Hannagan, Beyonce Knowles and Amanda Bynes.

The movie spoofs seemed too drag on alot to me though. The opening Matrix one was 7 minutes long. Come on now. It gets old really quickly. As for the Vince Vaughn Ass thing, yeah it was funny for a second, but then it too got old fast.

CRINGE. It was absolutely awful. I had such high hopes for Stifler and Timberlake because I think they're both pretty funny in a goofy way, but they sucked. The cartoon superhero thing was so corny I wanted to gag. There were also SO many uncomfortable moments, like when Beyonce and Johnny Knoxville were presenting an award. I had to change the channel. The worst part was Eminem's second acceptance "speech". I understand that he was trying to say "I already made one grateful speech, just give it to me" but did he have to be such a raving dork about it? "I've got mail! I've got mail!" Boring performances as well.

I caught it today, and for anyone who hasnt seen it...just tune in to MTV anytime of the day for the next month: they will be playing it.

First off, has MTV had one single acceptable host since Chris Rock on any awards show?
Stiffler and Timberlake were so anti-funny, that it actually made me mad.

The T.A.T.U. (by the way what does that stand for?) performance was great eye candy. So many skirts, so many skirts in P.Diddy's hands.

Amanda Bines and Hillary Duff looked extremely hot. But please dont give them talking parts. The should have been part on the lesbian kissing scene. At least when they are in playboy you wont have to hear them.

i havent watch an award show on MTV for about 3-4 years. i was bored and it was on so i checked it out. i wasnt impressed with the performances.

the Gollum speech was one of the funniest things i have seen or heard though. i want that as a soundbyte.
