so what's the deal with them? My wife did it again yesterday. She mentioned that she had a dream about a friend of hers she hasnt heard from in 3 months (who was pregnant with twins). She said "gee I should call her - that dream probably means she had the kids". Sure enuf she calls today and the friend had them the day before.
creeepy.
oh, did I mention that she did this AGAIN? She does this several times a year, sometimes it's way too uncanny.

I do that too.
Like two days before I got arrested on the way to work, I dreamt that I had to call work because I wouldn't be able to make it because I couldn't find my car.
I'm always seeing things happen, not exactly how they happen but the same combination of main factors in a dream.

There are 6 billion people on this planet. Which means there are trillions of dreams every night. How many seem to come true? 4? 5? Seems to me that with a nearly infinite number of scenarios dreamt up, some events are going to match.

I agree with your comment, but....
it's uncanny - she only mentions certain ones to me - those are the ones that turn out true - it's almost like those dreams seem different or something.

I had a dream I was standing at the edge of my street watching the NYC skyline crumble because terrorists had planted bombs in the sewers. I was too late to stop it.
A couple of months later I was actually watching the towers fall from the same place in my dream.
I know it's only coincidence and that I watch too many action movies, but that bugged me out that Tueday morning.
Enough with the sigpics.

it's happened to me a few times before, but this one stood out most...
back in high school, i would talk with this one teacher every morning about mostly music - he's the one that got me to like bob dylan. anyway... i had this dream about him one night that i went in to talk with him after school and he was telling me about this great new house he bought in edison near the rutgers campus and that he was happy to finally get out of his apartment.
i woke up feeling kinda weird about it and decided to ask him about it when i saw him. after school i went up to talk to him and told him that i dreamed of him and what it was about. he kinda got a freaky look on his face when i told him, and then said that he did buy a house down there 2 minutes from RU.
i swear i didn't know anything about his personal life, let alone know that he was moving and where to.
