I watched the Gilberneti/Jarrett ME tonight.
How many finishers were pulled out in the finish? Lame. It was *finisher move* OH MY GOD, WRESLTERS ARE COMING OUT TO WATCH THIS! 2-count, *finisher*, MORE WRESTLERS ARE OUT! 2-count, finisher, etc.
Then I see Eddie Money come out with a baseball bat.
I mean, the guy had a mullet parted down the middle... it was Eddie Money!
Except...
it was Vince Russo. He looks so different w/o the beard and the longer hair,a nd it looks like he put on some weight.
Blah... boring. I don't get it.

How come HHH takes so much heat when Jarrett does the same thing in his daddy's promotion.
Also didn't Vince Russo quit the business because he wanted to be home with his family. How long did that angle last 3 weeks.

Indeed it was a very dissappointing main event. But keep in mind next Wednesday it will be a three way dance between Jeff Jarrett, Raven and the Phenomenal AJ Styles. Look for a new champion to be crowned. AJ Styles and Jarrett had an amazing match for the title months back. Raven and AJ had a great #1 contenders ladder match and then we all remember Raven vs Jarrett.
God would someone please get the title off of Double J.

I actually enjoyed it Matty.
I'm surprised other people have not here. Glen and Jarrett did a pretty solid job from where I stand. I enjoyed the finisher after finisher (Anklelock, Stunner, Figure Four, The Stroke) and the near 3 counts as the rest of TNA looked on (where the heck was Lynn, Red, The New Church and the rest of the Extreme Revolution?). Russo had to interfere and next week is gonna be huge (the Triple Threat for the World Title with the following week being the 1 Year Anniversary.
The only think that bothered me was the Johnny Knockville "Asshole" Crew making so much damn noise that I can not hear the commentators with the Fallen Angel and Mike Sanders. I'm surprised my boys in the "Heel Section" didn't fight back with them and the three fat chicks on the other end of the Knockville Crew.
Oh yeah the only real disappointments of the night was the X-Division 6 Man Tag and Lollipop being M.I.A. (probably had to do with Tyson, the other cage dancer stealing her gimmick) as well.

Red wasn't at ROH either. ROH is doing some shows out in england so maybe they're all just over there.
Average show, predictable ending, too many promos. (Did Raven really need a live interview and a taped interview saying pretty much the same thing?) Not worth the money last night. (But thank god I go to a friends house and he has a hot box)

Geez, mini-Trips, give it a rest! :)
Seriously, it's easy to make allowanaces for Jeff when a) he and his daddy started up the company and can pretty much do what they want (where as many see Trips as using the bedroom to keep his position in the company), and b) the company is not as ''popular'' as WWe. Just the same, booking yourself consistently into main event status sucks, any way you look at it... just look at a lot of indies for examples of that.

Well, because:
1) Jarrett owns the promotion and thus can do pretty much whatever the fuck he wants.
2) He's one of their few *true* name stars (although I will agree with those who say he needs to drop the belt, and soon).
and 3) Jarrett is a far better worker than HHH. Which doesn't really matter to marks, but matters more to us internet wrestling geeks.
I liked the Jarrett / Gilberti match too (I'm a fan of Glen, and I hate to see people still stigmatize him for his Disco days), but it was overbooked and Russo needs to cut the shit out, on and off air.

4.) Jeff Jarrett actually takes an assbeating in every match. He not only gets his ass handed to him, he also makes the wrestlers around him look better. He sells everything for AJ Styles and Raven. Look at Triple H. He goes out and beats the shit out of Booker T making him look like the furthest thing from a challenger to the World Title. At least Jarrett makes it interesting.

Oh, come on Tony, be fair... there's been times when Trips sold moves. Of course, the selling is usually followed by a pedigree out of nowhere (even when he's been on the defensive for the entire match) followed by a pin, with an occasional sledgehammer spot thrown in for flay-vuh. :)
