well, i went and took the plunge into mac osx and i must
say I like it. it's a step up from my old mac. I'm now using
an imac, 1 ghz w/512mb ram. my question for my fellow
enlightened beings, how good is safari?

Wow, that's like double the RAM I got in my new PC. Very cool bra.
MAC's are gay though for posting here.
As for safari, I have no idea what you are talking about, so here's a funny little picture.

As for safari, I have no idea what you are talking about
me either,
but I was looking at a 2003 GMC Safari, 0% financing or 3,000rebate(i heard GM just upped it to 4K on some vehicles)
if i could get the rebate and the 0% then maybe...
good luck with the new MAC...

Macs are great. As I am typing this, my left foot is resting on an iBook. My right foot is resting on a Titanium. I can post the pics of you like:)

unix represent, kid! not really; i work on a mac 8+ hrs a day, but honestly find my pc much more comforting. i think mac's have in edge in processing, but i find the os to be less stable (9.0.2) than a pc.
and safari would have to be better than netscape; even ie is better on a mac.

If you're on a mac running osx, nothing compares to safari

Safari rules. Only occasionally (maybe once a month?) do I come across a webpage it can't handle (for example, today. I tried to go to waldbaums.com but I got a frame that was blank inside). I use explorer in those cases but it is noticably slower.

Moe, Macs aren't gay for posting here. Internet
Explorer is gay for posting here. ALL other browsers
work fine on this site.
That being said...F uck Safari, USE CAMINO!!!

MACos X is much different than MACos 8.6. I love the monitor, it's 17" butnot square, it's more like a widescreen format.
