I've always had a great amount of respect for this man, and I'm glad that he went down a legend and not in shame.

Yes, he is hung like a horse. One female porn star describes having sex with Johneewadd as like giving birth.

Wha a shame. How weird is it that he was just on Raw a few weeks ago. He didn't even get to enjoy the success of his book. Rest in peace Fashion Plate. Here are some of my favorite moments of his-
-The "Hearts and Flowers" segment on wrestling TNT with Vince McMahon. This appeared on the video "Bloopers, Bleeps and Bodyslams". He attempted to give advice to the lovelorn.
-When asked where his cane was in his post match interview after the Iron Shiek and Nikolia Volkoff used it to defeat Barry Windham and Mike Rotundo at WrestleMania, he replied "What cane? I didn't have no cane."
-The Famous performing chicken. He brought out Kamala and a chicken that Kamala eventually "ate". When the chicken was shown, it dropped some mud.
-The Randy Savage free agent meeting. Savage was deciding which manager to have represent him. When came time for Blassie to talk to Savage, he took out a wad of cash from his pocket and said "This is just walking around money."
-When the Iron Shiek upset Bob Backlund for the WWF title, I'll never forget Blassie yelling for the Shiek to kick Backlund in his injured neck and back.
-The infamous main event cage match at the Medowlands Arena in 1985 between Blassie and Lou Albano.
You'll be truly missed. Now 2/3 of the classic managing team are wrecking havoc in heaven. The other being Ernie "Grand Wizard" Roth.

I think I"m going to have to pop "My Breakfast With Blassie" in the VCR. That's got some of the funniest things I"ve ever heard included on that, especially when Fred counsels Andy on taking the hand of Asian women.
Godspeed Fashion Plate, you shall be missed.

especially when Fred counsels Andy on taking the hand of Asian women.
Freddy: (Running the pregnant Asian waitress's stomach) Heh, like rubbing a Buddah. (To Andy after waitress leaves) If you complement them you don;t have to tip them as much."
My favorite line in that movie. God bless, Freddie. Hope you're still entertaining pencil necked geeks in the big squared circle in the sky.

I only knew the man as a manager in the WWF, but I remember him.
I hope he is at peace.

I'm sure R&F must've had a lot to say about his passing. I would've loved to have heard it.

i loved the Freddie tribute video on Smackdown tonight. the one thing WWE does right all the time are those video clips. I smiled and was upset watching it. i want to take out one of the Best of the WWF Volume 1-5 videos. he has to be in a bunch of those.

GREAT Freddie tribute video on Smackdown. It's kind of sad, but the best thing the WWE does these days is video packages.
Still, excellent package for Freddie. A nice retrospective of his career with the WWE, to the tune of Evanescence's "My Immortal" (which seemed oddly appropriate, as Freddie will live on as a true legend).
Classy? Maybe, but what a CLASSIC. Check this out:
During Blassie's matches, one of his favorite gimmicks was biting his opponent, sucking in the man's blood, and spitting it into the air. On interviews, he'd arouse audiences by filing his teeth.
He always claimed that, when Japanese fans watched him carve up their beloved hero, Rikidozan, during a series of matches in the early 1960s, a number of elderly television viewers died from heart attacks.
"Over my entire career, 92 people died because of 'Classy' Freddie Blassie," he boasted. "But that was a disappointment. My goal was to get 100."
Now that's a quote. I'm gonna miss this guy.
