As you can imagine, I say yes. I think it solves alot of problems. For one, it obviously takes many of these girls off the streets. But not as many as you might think. I believe a high percentage of the current street whores have an STD of some kind, therefore they would fail the testing nessecary to be "liscenced" as a prostitute.

The ones lucky enough to get off the street and into a liscened whore house will also be alot safer. No need to worry about getting beaten or anyhting like that.

Also the "johns" pay at the door so theres no risk of getting screwed over so to speak.

Another strong point is the impact it would make on the police and courts....they dont have to worry about dealing with this shit as much anymore.

i say definitely. it's basically a victimless crime. i know people argue about the girl herslef being the victim, but legalizing prostitution would serve only to lessen that. it's more or less just a business agreement, like anything else. someone's selling something that someone else wants to buy. they agree on a price and perform their respective parts. maybe it's time that sex wasn't regulated quite so much.

Not only should prostitution be legalized, drugs should as well.

As far as prostitution, if you're talking ho's on the street, they get absolutely no cut from their tricks. The pimp takes all of it. In return he gives her protection, shelter, pays medical bills, posts bail, and buys her stuff. Legalizing prostitution would not only empower women more, but regulating it as is done certain counties in Nevada would lessen health risks and decrease street crime.

Not only that chairman but consider this if you will. How many guys marry the first piece of steady ass they get? Too many I say, and if this non-pussy getting guy can get pussy basically at will, then the amount of lame ass marriages (which would only last a few years anyway) goes down dramaticaly!

But I have ot disagree to an extent as far as getting girls off the street. See my idea is that these new breed of legal hookers will need to pass a basic physical and i dont believe a high percentage of current street hookers would pass these tests. Street walkers will still exsist, but who owuld pay for them? I mean besides a murderer or a rapist.

Yes it should be legal. Back in the day about 1919 the US Government sat down and decided which shit should be legal and illegal. Liquor, Pot, Prostitution, and other fun stuff. They hired a panel of experts in the fields of Criminology, Medicine, Psycho Therapy, and other shit. They came up with 3 answers the gov problems. Legalization, Decriminalization, and what we have today Massive over-criminalization. They said that the best solution was to decriminalize these acts and make some legal. No surprise they decided to throw the WASP protestant ethics around and said all the fun stuff is for the devil. The # 1 reason was for them to inflict massive social control on the immigrant masses (i.e. punish the immigrant races [Catholics {Germans, Irish, Polish, ect} with drinking, Asians with opium, Blacks with Cocaine, and Mexicans with sweet Mary Jane]). That's why we had prohibition, the only thing we won back FYI.
Holland or the Netherlands on the other hand decided to Legalize and regulate prostitution and decrim pot and drugs. Regulation of such things is the way to go. Crime goes down when actions that 90% of the population does are legal. Shit they even got unions for hookers and drug users.
As evidence of this shit hole decision of the war on drugs there has been a 400% increase of over the last 20 years on the prison inmate population. 1980-1990 200% 1990-2000 200% increase. Fuk the budget deficit hasn't gone up that much in 50years, education hasn't made an increase like that ever. These are astronomical figures. Making some shit legal like prostitution, and decrim other shit like pot, pills what ever would show about a 300% decrease in the prison pop. Again I vote yes for prostitution.
