Is there a store in Manhattan with a good selection of hot sauces?

My wife and I love hot sauces, but so far have been unable a good variety of them available in Manhattan. We're usually stuck going to some gourmet/specialty hot sauce store when we leave town. Any suggestions?

Your best bet is to try a local or nearest Asian market. I too am a fan of hot sauces and food, I can reccomend the "Sambal" line of products. My preference is "Sambal Badjak" which is pictured below. Usually you can find a cute stock girl there too, so wear your best shirt!

i don't know weither you have them up there but around here a good place to go for hot sauces is a grocery store called Harris teeter.

I can't give you the exact location but I remember seeing many stores in the Chinatown section of Manhattan selling all types of sauces. Also, there are many places on the web to shop for these items.

I'm with reeshy. There doesn't seem to be a store in NYC that stocks only hot sauces, as you can find in other cities. Gourmet places like Dean & DeLuca or even Whole Foods or Fairway have a fair variety, but if you really want a wide selection you gotta go online.
