website has been hacked. I checked it out, and it
indeed has been altered.

If it has been taken down or fixed by the time you read
this, this is what it says:

Mr. Moore, your documentary "Bowling for Columbine"
is fictitious, not factual. David Hardy's Truth About
Bowling is simply damning. You deliberately deceive
your viewers, who are only expecting a slightly biased
factual report. Mr. Moore, my personal hope is that you
publicly apologize, not for your ideas, but for dubbing
your lies the truth.

While the movie sucked, it IS a documentary. There's no rule that a documentary needs to represent some universal truth...it only has to represent what the filmmaker WANTED it to say, which "Columbine" did, but just based on interviews, "found footage", photos, etc., and not dramaticized re-tellings and renactments. Sorry to burst the bubble.

And while the film itself is about as skewed and false in as many way's possible, his underlying question (Which is NOT about guns, nor ever was) still remains perfectly valid, and not even he tried to answer it...why ARE we so damn violent? The final site linked on the hacked page doesn't even bother trying to say Moore is an "anti-gun liar" (Yes), and instead flat-out addresses the question of us being so violent basically since the pilgrims arrived not with any kind of answer or debate, and instead dismisses this notion simply as "Anti-American." Fan-fucking-tastic.

Moore initally had a great premise for a film and a serious question that needs to be addressed. Just too bad that important message got lost under a mountain of anti-gun muckraking and bias...
