Why I am not good enough to become a drug addict or alcoholic

I wish I could be an alcoholic or drug addict but I am just not that dedicated. I am too
lazy to go out to a bar every night to get drunk. I have TV to watch. I need to sleep.
As for drugs. That is harder to get than booze forget about it. So next time you see a
drunk realize they are dedicated in what they do and you should think twice before
you mock them. i for one know I am a failure. i will never be an alcoholic or a dug
addict.............

This has got to be the stupidest topic I have seen in a long time!! I deal with people who have these addictions and it has to be one of the most heart-breaking things to live with. Any one with this affliction has got to be the most miserable person walking on this earth, I'm sure that nobody wished that they would grow up to be an alcoholic and/or drug addict when they were young!!

Dude! You can totally become a drunk at home! Serious drinking does not require a bar or other people! As a matter of fact, REAL alkies "drink alone, with nobody else!" (ask George Thorogood, or me!) And really, you can do drugs without the company of others, as well! If you get lonely, you just sign on to R & F, and you feel better! Don't be afraid - it's actually safer to drink and do drugs at home - no chance to get killed in an accident or, worse yet, kill some poor innocent victim! Take it from me - I nearly died 21 yrs ago in a dwi - I now have a hip implant, and fortunately, no one was with me when I hit that big ole tree - the tree, however, has since died an untimely death. R.I.P. You ARE good enough! It just takes a little dedication and hard work. I thouight I would be dead befoe I reached age 30 - I am 49, alive and sort of well - I have a good job, friends and everything! The only reason I don't have a boyfriend is because he died of leukemia in '01 - I haven't been able to find anyone as good so far - so, hang in there - the goal can be achieved!

I am tooo cheap to become a drunk or a drug addict. Can I have bootleg booze or
drugs???? And while you can become a drunk at your home and what not I think it
has to start off by going out. And then in time you mature to becomong a house

A real person who is dedicated to becoming a drunk but too lazy to go out will use what is readily in the house. For example your mouthwash or your cough medicine. Probably in your medicine cabinet already. Find more if you like. It is so easy.

I have to admit, I spent many years sitting in a bar before I realized it was much more expensive and dangerous than sitting at home. The money you save on store-bought alcohol and bartender tips can be used to purchase drugs! And, when you reach the passing-out stage, your bed is right there in the other room! Or, you can just stay right there on the sofa! And, if you smoke, it's still not illegal to smoke in your own house! I really don't know what people are thinking when they outlaw smoking in bars - alcoholism and smoking go hand in hand! I quit smoking cigarettes because I have asthma, but boy, I still crave a ciggie when I drink...
