Three arrested al Qaeda suspects were planning to hijack a Saudi plane and crash it into a building in the Red Sea town of Jeddah, Saudi security sources told CNN today. The news comes with the U.S. under an increased terror alert, as intelligence officials warn al Qaeda has entered an "operational period worldwide."
