I think I was like 10 or 11 playing with them in Radio Shack but when the Commodore 64 came out I thought that was the "S"
My first computer was a blazing 33Mhz 486 with a colossal 60MB hard drive and 4MB of RAM.

My kids use my second computer, my eight year old Performa (Quadra) 630.

I bought one of the first iMacs, and it sits on the floor and still does me righteous when my cable connection craps out.

And I am posting this message from my completely tricked out Flower Power iMac.

It's almost time for me to get one of these, though.

I'm with Steels. My family had the Apple 2E. Green Screen 4 Life!!! I remember the ery 1st Printshop. You could print out banners and cards and shit. But the card were printed so you could fold an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet into quarters to make a small card.
Weak.

I didn't have that one Steels. I did play plenty of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, Oregon Trail and some adventure game that revolved around Transylvania that for some reason I cannot recall the name of. Was it just Transylvania?

My first computer was an IBM XT, very old system. But it was a good start for me. The first computer that I used was my friend Sal's Commodore 64. I also had the old Atari computer system when it first came out.

The fist computer that was mine completely was an old Commode 128D-CR, it ran a blazingly fast 1/2-1/3 Mhz, came bundled with BASIC, 128KB of RAM and gave off so much radiation they couldn't sell the originals in the United States.
Does anyone else remember getting that computer and thinking "Well, this is it, no computer is going to get any faster or better than this, so I'll just ride this computer through high school and college and then maybe I'll upgrade."

I remember just loading up the wagon with bullets and spending the whole time shooting deer and bears. The second version of the game was a lot easier to hunt on. Almost TOO easy.
